Mainly I think because Lego is not willing to expand their IPs. Bionicle is the most expansive thing they have ever done, but they abandon their best ideas when instead they need fresh wind.
I love this so much. It manages to capture everything Bionicle is. The horns, flutes, and drums give a fantasy vibe, but the guitar has the awesome metallic and robotic feel.
Yeah. Vakama's tale about Metru nui was the turning point when Bionicle has changed from Ooga booga theme to Futuristic theme with Lots of Guns.(Piraka's weapons, Zamor,Kordak,Midak,Nynrah)
I’m 26 now and this theme still resonates in my head from time to time. Such an amazing song. It’s funny how as a kid the fight of the Toa vs the Piraka seemed like real life matter of life or death. The stories and morals of Bionicle will be with us always.

The 2010s had Ninjago throughout, with Lego Universe, Gen 2 Bionicle, Atlantis, The Lego Movie. The good themes haven't gone anywhere, we just haven't had the 2020 one yet.

We’ve had the great Lego Movies. we’ve had the very popular Lego Friends since 2012, excellent set themes like the Botanical selection, Star Wars busts, and Lego Portraits. My point is: don’t worry! Kids today are still getting the awesome themes that we grew up with in the early 2000s. We’ll grow up and say ‘wow, remember that cool Mars Mission flash game we found on the Lego website?’ And they’ll say ‘hey, remember that cool Lego Batman movie that we watched round my house?’ And we should be happy for them :)

But i wouldnt count Star Wars as Lego franchise, its not on their account. But a problem i have with every theme nowadays is one that Ninjago has as well: Story. Dont get me wrong, i like Ninjagos story, but they have to be consistant, build up a world like they did with Bionicle. Ninjago had no idea what it wanted to be for years.
I haven't played this in 6-8 years and man it feels better than any Xbox 360,PS3,Xbox One or PS4 game, and last I checked, my game progress was in the 80's.
God, if they ever made a Bionicle cartoon based on the Ignition / Legends series and had this be the theme song, I would've been all for it. Not to mention, it probably would've made Bionicle last a little bit longer if you ask me.

@@adityatamhane835 For me, manually detonating Nuparu's (the black Toa you mentioned) grenades helps with aiming and hitting the target. After the grenade is launched from the weapon, press the Attack button again to detonate it early (i.e. before it explodes on its own).
Holy shit. I played this as a kid when it was new, and I must have never stayed on the menu long enough for the part at 0:35 to start, because I have no memory of the music changing like that. This is my first time hearing it. How is it so good?

Funnily enough I was listening to a spooky mix of music and Sicilienne popped up, and I was instantly reminded of Bionicle heroes, a game I had long forgotten.
The fact that when idle your Toa knock on your screen and it makes the glass sound is nostalgic enough, we all remember those glass screen box TVs.
