Bionicles are quite tough and epic for the reputation of being "just another action figure set". Think about it: they are cyborg bio life that has no given creation story (just like transformers but no turning into things). Their life force is stored in their mask (almost like the human brain), and if they remove the mask, Well, besides that being like ripping the skin off your face, all you'd see is a slimy mess of alien brains. But also the masks can be preserved after death, and they have special powers. In the story: The ancient mask of life fell into the wrong hands, creating the beast-like life forms like the Vahkii, Borahk, or the spiders that I forgot the name of, as well as transforming the evil misusers of the mask into vicious monstrosities of life form overload (the Piraka). All of that I explained is something just as epic you would see in a full work if fiction, not a toy brand. It's sad that lego canceled the bionicle franchise, it would be amazing to see a sequel to this game... But no, not going to happen.
Vahki were mindless droids designed to maintain law when Toa were busy and they were engineered and designed by Onu-matoran Nuparu in Metru Nui. Bohrok are cleaners designed and created by the great beings. Piraka are members of a species called the Skakdi, but they left their homeland to work for the Dark Hunters, and later ditched them to become the group called Piraka, meaning thieves or murderers in the matoran language. None of what you said had anything to do with the mask of life, but it definitely could create such things, and curse beings in ways way worse than you mention.

Yandere ninja 121 Here's a hint, if it's $175 or above, don't consider it worth the money. I managed to get the set for Nocturn for about €64 on a site dedicated to Bionicle collectors.
The whole problem with the vezon fight was that it deviated from the rest of the boss battles in form. In the rest of the battles, it was warrior spam that made them interesting, because the main baddy him/herself wasn't TOO powerful. They took away the warriors spam in the vezon fight, but gave him no new or better powers to compensate. I get the feeling they were going for, but in context of the game, it didn't work. It still was an entertaining game, especially considering the age demographic it was intended for.
What made this game even better for me when I was little was the fact that I had literally everysingle set (except for five of the normal Bohrak, wich I now have) wich was shown in this game, every boss every hero every matoran and every visorak and Vahki
I always perceived this as a more fitting boss theme for something more...dark than Vezon. Imagine this: a battle with an opponent that grows in size and strength the more you back away from it, and can turn your greatest friends and allies into the enemies of nightmares. Back away too far and you create your greatest enemy - fear you cannot destroy. vs. Irnakk.
I've seen the world through the eyes of madness. It rejected me at every turn, as if existence itself resents me. Now, as I fall infinitely through time and space, I grow more and more bloodthirsty. Rest assured, the moment I happen to stumble into your pitiful plane of existence, I will make your life a living inferno. You had better not die before I get my hands on you.
Vezon I'd get some last words ready then, if I were in your boots right now. Your last words, not mine - those are not meant to be spoken just yet. I have seen the world annihilated in enough ways to make your spine twitch - if only you still had one.
Vezon *Vezon then arrived on Earth, where he had made a small miscalculation. He was the size of an actual Bionicle toy from Earth, and thus upon reaching the home of Jordan McKendrick, was disassembled for spare parts.*
Jordan Randall McKendrick Actually, you made me think of this song playing during the final battle between Mata Nui and Makuta. You know, the one in the Mata Nui robots? It's fitting.
That American Narrator No, that's more of an epic battle than a threatening one. This music fits for those really scary battles where you're a small person against a massive enemy.
