Some customers may know that their timing belt should be changed per the manufacturer schedule but they don't know that the timing belt is hidden under a cover. So they see the accessory drive belts which may be in good condition and assume one of them must be the timing belt.

Neglect and poor maintenance belts and pulleys won't last forever 😮

I have 2 Mopars in my driveway now (07 300 w/2.7 & 12 Avenger w/2.4). I've never owned a Chrysler product due to all the horror stories I've heard but the 300 was passed down to my oldest daughter and the Avenger was $1k from a coworker so I couldn't pass it up. I've been watxhing the heck out of your videos and really enjoy how you break things down. I've got a heck of a tick in the Avenger now so I'm going to be checking it out. Before even finishing the vid, this sounds like the timing belt broke. This happened on girl 3.5L Charger. Had replace the motor a year ago. Then 2 ago weeks the tensioner pulley completely failed so I replaced the belt, tensioner, water pump for her before disaster could strike twice
