Todd, thank you for putting out this series. You've mentioned in past videos how not everyone can afford the [fill in the blank]. The 2 reasons I'm able to have the accessories I do is 1. I've been fortunate to come across some incredible deals from time to time ranging anywhere from 10% off to 50% off. And 2, because I do the majority of my installation which saves alot of $! Takes a lot longer (measure twice cut once) but it's worth it! Video's like these help me be able to DIY install, which in turn allows me to afford the toys. Thanks brother!
I do all my own rigging and 90% of my own repairs. That way I know its done right and if something happens I almost always know how to fix it. Love the colors on the new boat
I've had dealers rig my boat and I've then re-rigged my boat. There is nothing like doing it yourself so you can make changes or repair/diagnose faster and easier. With that being said, it helps to have the right information to make the right decision for you.
Great advice on going through a vendor that specializes and knows what they are doing. When you buy through a smaller business like jones, or the bass tank or russell marine, its incredibly valuable to have someone you can call / email to ask a specific question like what kind of cable do I need, or what graphs are compatible with each other. So much easier than trying to research it all on your own.
This is gonna be good! I also can't wait to see what you think of the garmin trolling motor after the season. Thanks for taking the time to put this series together
Now that is a great video. Lots to learn and this breaks it down. Looking forward for the series. Thanks a ton Todd. Be sure to throw out a total cost for the setup : )
@@toddcastledinefishing5924 love and appreciate your videos, can’t tell you how much they help. I was in the hospital with colon cancer last year for 12 days.. watched everyone of your videos a few times .. they really helped. Hir me hard at 49 but I’m cancer free..and back at it. Semper Fi!!!
Great video, looking forward to the others videos to come!!!! Man I wish I was in that area but who knows!! I’m very big on customer service and these guys seems to be great with helping I just wish these boat dealers was the same when selling boats they tell you what you wanna hear until you sign your name but I just might have to make that ten hour drive
Good show look forward to the rest of the series...some things never change we sanded transducers on flashers in the 80s...will you get into livescope transducer adjustment on shaft in future shows?
todd question buddy I get a ranger about 3 years are no longer than 5 but then add stuff to it ( rig) so my question Is this what percentage do pros when selling their boat at end of season sell it with everything on it graphs to batteries so on cause I know most get new stuff yearly because of tech going so fast and they want the new tech fir that season ??????
Hey Todd, looks like this may be just as good as the Deep Water Series! I must ask though, will pricing be covered in this series? How much should we expect to spend for labor and stuff like that? I know it varies depending on what you get, but that would also be helpful information! Thanks for the great content!
Todd, I'm sure you are busy with Boat Rigging vids currently, but would like to see a terminal tackle org video if you ever get time - have seen bits and pieces on previous vids re baits, but not so much on terminal tackle. From what I can tell watching you rig setups in other vids it appears you are using terminal coffin for weights and other rigging items, and a deep casket for hooks? If it's that simple maybe a video isn't needed :) but have been trying to revise my setup and have gone through many iterations ie edge, fto, bags, gruvs etc never really finding the perfect system.
Didnt think the in hull transducers were still used ! I Have my 2'D side scan ect ! On the back of the boat ! Great video ! I'm a lowrance guy * But might put a garmin live scope up front *after I rob a bank *
Did he use something to hold down the transducer while the epoxy dried? Mine kept wanting to roll on its side so I had to rig a stick with a weight tied on it to keep pressure down. Not an easy place to get 2 hands on it
i was having trouble with my humminbird a few weeks ago. it wouldn't power on. found that the clip where it plugs into the unit was loose. i ended up having to take that cover off and just plug in everything one cord at a time. i found that the port for the power where it plugs into the unit had some plastic missing around it. not sure if there is anything i can do about it or just roll with it like it is.

Impressed. Your video series have been awesome. Talk about fast tracking anglers into the basics of bass angling. Impressed and loving it.

Great video I put all new Garmin on my son boat and that Garmin trolling motor is fast.

Awesome series. I wish people would care about their job like these dudes! I think Ken Smith did a video in that store.
This is going to great. Looking forward to it
Already started working on it

Hey Todd can you make a video on the tiny boat debate, want to fish the opens but interested in hearing 21ft vs 18ft etc.
Would have liked to seen you on grand lake this week ?

It would be cool if you did a pre rigging before a tournament video too. How you mentally prepare what goes through your head.
Great info! It’s going to be really great when I can afford a boat 😆.
Apparently you didn’t get the memo, you should’ve start saving twenty year ago Lol 😂 buying a boat now is like looking for a dream home
@@DLPfishing it really is! Going to start off with a used one here in a couple years and work my way up!
As always, awesome video. What rod are you using to toss the Hybrid Hunter? You've got me purchasing some for the season!

depending on the boat we have various things we do use to keep the ducers down to prevent that.
Win it buddi glad 20 part over for Guntersville so I can come of my ADD meds

If its a helix the clip catches are notorious for breaking out. Youll have to call Humminbird on that one.
This will be sweet
Todd, been a subscriber for a long time...appreciate all the videos, the music not so much😂
Nice just subscribe here for the build
👍
👍👍👍👍👍
Part of qualifying to compete at the Pro level should be having to rig your own boat.
I hope everyone reading this catches their pb this spring!
Just had my tournament PB Saturday. Sure would like to top that again this year.
Nice Zack! How big?
So I’m guessing this place is in Texas ? Lol
