Great informative Video!!! I jysy bought this system 3 weeks ago and have spent more time messing with thus unit on the wayer than fishing.I have been nothing but frustrated.I definately had my transducer set wrong the entire time.Nice Job Guys!!!Thank You!!!
I'm using a fishing specialties kayak pole for my LS transducer. Also using their transducer mount & it's way better than the factory Garmin mount. Exspecialy for perspective mode, you can change the angle for different depths. It really makes a big difference when you can change the angle. I use perspective mode about 70% of the time
One of the few videos that talk about hooking LS to a Force TM. Great tip on removing the collar! I thought it was so weird Garmin made it where that didn’t fit through the channel.
I don't like spending a lot of time playing with the electronics. I usually keep mine on perspective & facing whatever direction I'm fishing. That way I spend most of my time with baits in the water& fishing!! It's like having a live 360 basically. I know you can't see behind you but I'm not fishing behind myself & you see all the structure on your way through the first time. I am interested to see what your baseline settings are for different water clearities & situations. Enjoy the 34 you will definitely be impressed
Good tip on talking about wording! That extremely important! Lvs34 system should have no less than 10awg marine wire feeding it! I run my ultra 106sv, lvs34 system & steady cast off a single amped outdoors 32ah14.8v lithium battery. It will run everything for 13-15 hours. I did my own wiring. I'm running an 8awg marine wire from my battery in back up to my front hatch iny kayak where all the electronics are. I'm using posi locks to connect the power source wire to my electronics. Same connectors that the sea clear power harness guys use on theirs. I have exactly same voltage at my unit as directly off my battery
What’s up just explained to someone on the video before last that you have been working on this hole video about ringing the new boat and everything along with it. So let’s get it
Todd, do you still have the same live scope set up as in this video??? And do you have any trouble with using your spot - lock with this set up ??? Would greatly appreciate any input please . I am either setting my up like this video or on a pole attached to TM shaft for independent movement.
I'm probably going to get rid of my good old reliable Minn Kota Fortrex and go to G Force. I just need to find out where to install my Lowrance Live 9 puck transducer on the G Force head. My Garmin GPSMap 1222 is strictly for Livescope so the Garmin transducer does me no good unless I get rid of the Lowrance. Hope it can be done. Very good detailed install thank you and Jones.
So many things wrong with this video can't believe it's still up. You should study up a bit before you start talking. There are 6 beams and perspective is 135° not 150°. They recommend 4" of clearance or more also from the barrel. I also just read you said you know more than Garmin so I'm preaching to the choir. Also no cable ties guys. Voids warranty This guy gunna get you in trouble.

They make little velcro cable ties you can use where you used the zip tie.
Thanks Todd. This is the video I was looking for.
Thanks for the video. Us newbs just got this 34 and look forward to my son (15) experimenting with this unit.
I find these videos very relaxing.
Thanks Todd, I just got one on and learning every trip, this will help me, thank you buddy 😅
That one click back tip is money! I didn’t know we could do that to help track the bait

I've got lvs34 system, steady cast & echomap ultra 106sv on my hobie pedal drive kayak. It is hell of a set up! The lvs34 is crazy.
Pivoting the trans up that notch is great info....was wondering how guys were getting views of the surface....THANK YOU!!!!!

Great advice
Good info 👍
Are you still running the Garmin Perspective mount, or have you moved to a 0°?
Dis you use the blue cable that came with the Garmin or did you use the extra long 6 foot or 20 foot cable? My blue cable won't reach the black box .

call them up and ask
@@toddcastledinefishing5924 Yes, tomorrow I watching the dump the big sticks and go spinning and Livescope. It's the only way to get good with it.
Todd, will some of this also apply to Active Target?
And can't wait on setting
What is the cost for Garmin 34 system?
Where’s the next video on wiring of the live scope
Almost done with it
Omg man down in my garage 😅
Wish you posted this 2 weeks ago. 😅
Unreal ! How far Technology has come < And its only going to get better < Not good to be a BASS ANYMORE
😂 true
I meant wiring...
This isn't the way the Garmin manufacturer installed the Livescope, they ran the wires through the trolling motor shaft. Look it up.
This is the better way, those guys do things different
