I use one battery, a 100AH. This powers all of my electronics and all of the pumps on my boat. I will be upgrading to a 120+ AH battery when my current one dies.

Great video. I couldn’t help but notice that exactly at 14:30 your mount (part that is grabbing the trolling motor) is in the opposite orientation of the diagram, the slant is wide to narrow from top to bottom rather than narrow to wide from top to bottom. Is that clamp from Garmin? I ask because with the clamp I’m using and the angle it makes you install it, I have perspective pointing in an upward angle.

I’m not understanding your question, unless you’re talking about my screen being in perspective mode, but the mount being in forward mode. If that’s the case, it’s because I was in perspective when I stowed the tm, but changed the mount back to forward. The mount is from Garmin too. When you’re in perspective mode, the transducer should be angled down toward the bottom. I can help, I just can’t figure out what exactly you’re trying to ask.

Great video! I am using 3 lithium batteries of 100 AMH for my boat, 2 for my 24 V trolling motor, one for the electronics and starting the boat engine. The generator with the engine is charging the starting battery when the engine is running. Is the charging interfering with the electronics? Should I disconnect the generator from charging after the engine is started?

@@ABC-jb2rg generally no, the alternator or being hooked to the starting battery doesn’t cause any interference. If you’re getting weird interference that is something you can try isolating to see if it helps though.

Great explaining man. I am a super noob at boat and electric installs. I have a tracker pro guide I am going to install livescope on. I have a separate 12.8v 100ah lithium battery I’m going to run it off of. I’m a bit confused on the fuse panel thing. I see some people add them for livescope install and some do not. Is that like a necessity? And also you think I could run my 93sv and livescope off of the same battery? Super noob like I said lol

@@TheFishinMagician20 fuse panel is personal preference. It just puts a good connection point closer to everything, but you can also do individual runs from the battery to each electronics area (bow and console). Yes a 100AH battery is plenty for 93sv and LS. Probably get 2-3 days of fishing out of it before it needs to be charged

WTF, that is solid copper wire, definitely need to change that to stranded wire.

@@bmcarden87 there’s no difference besides the ability to be bent back and forth more over time. This setup has been used for almost 5 years and not a problem.
