Let me know what other types of videos you’d like to see!! 💪💪
Can you do a video on how to use the perspective mode?
I don’t see anyone talk about the feel that goes into fishing. In other words, when you feel a fish hit your bait - what’s the next move if it didn’t eat it? Maybe examples of how the line should feel when dragging it on the bottom, how to get over structure, or how to differentiate between bites and hitting up against a rock or something. I think it may be tough to teach, maybe that’s why I don’t see it a lot. Just a thought. 🤷
Anything other than fishing with electronics
How about a video where you go fish with all your graphs turned off and catch fish? That would be cool to see.
Thanks Joe! Nobody has mentioned that angle issue.
Glad to see the trolling motor move when the camera was on the screen. Nobody shows that! And now I know!
We have so many steep bluff walls or when your in super shallow water the more plumb that surface better the image in those situations
Great video - I never realized that the trolling motor might dip a little when deployed. I run a Ranger Z521c with a Lowrance Ghost so I’ll have to check it out and see if I have the same issue. Thanks!
Ghost has less dip then an ultrex but my 08 ranger z520 definitely had some dip to the bow
I always see my bait, I just see the fish come up to it, look at it, then leave.
Bahahaha that’s when you need to try a different presentation!
Me too
@@liprippinwithmo throw something else at em!
@@BassUnion I was trying to dial in Damiki Rigging. So, I did change colors. But, I was trying to figure out that technique.
@@robertrodriguez4587 that’s different then! Keep using it until you see when it shines
Show transducer set up new to channel 👍
I can hear Randy Blaukat screaming at this video!! 🤣
lol 😂
I run Active Target but I notice in almost all FFS videos that it’s fairly calm on the water. Alot of times for me on the Great Lakes it’s rough and almost makes seeing your bait or a fish coming to it impossible. Also I run mine on a separate pole. 👍👍
How do you like the separate pole??
@@BassUnion It works fairly well I run a Fishing Specialties pole setup. The only drawbacks are having to reach out over the gunnel when you want to look around in foward mode back over you shoulder or such. And getting used to lining up for a cast at something where you with it right in front you can eye it up easier. Thanks for making the video the setting part definitely gives me some tips. 👍👍
@@glenndaugherity6187 sick glad it may help!!
Wow love your video. I think we are local. Anyway I purchased my system the same as your last year and have no idea how the system work...never have a chance to see a fish or lure...still watching RUclips after RUclips and dang too much information. Hope someday someone pop up and show me how to use it or setting...
Awesome video! Thanks Joe
Hope this helps!!
You make it look easy
Confidence good sir! Time on the water! Just an apart of the process now!
Whats the difference between FFS and just dropping a couple electrodes in the water and shocking them up?
I wish people had a balanced view of livescope i have it and love it but think that it should not be used in a tournament , similar to any other sport where there are limitations with gear and equipment to properly showcase the skill of a professional. It was a good video thank you for the tips .
Agree 100%. He’s not fishing, he’s hunting over a salt lick. For the integrity of the sport, this stuff has got to be banned in tournament use.
Shouldn't be used at all. You're catching brood stock. Those fish should never or very very rarely be caught. They're so necessary to the sustainable of our fisheries.
@@Jannakennelspeople aint gettin it
How did you get the home and all that stuff off the bottom of your screen?
For my LVS34 I had to turn the AHRS off because I was getting some super weird bottom angles, after looking online and videos said to just turn it off. well I got the picture back to normal but when the boat rocks so does the display. How do you get the unit back to AHRS on wth a clean picture? I will also look into the wedge. Thanks
@@kmasmith0995 calibrate that compass!!! Just figured that one out recently!!!
@@BassUnion Great I will try and figure that out on the next trip out Thank you
Agree… Literally you guys suck using live scope 😂
What do you have your go pro on? Is it a new necklace mount?
Yeah thing is dope! Maybe I’ll do a video on it!
Are most California lakes typically clear and blue like that?
A lot of these reservoirs are pretty clear!
@@BassUnion
That would be Live Sonar dream scenario with lakes like that.
My experience from Michigan to Florida lakes are low visibility, stained and particles.
Very rarely does noise reject even come off of low to off. You can tweek settings all day and it won’t matter. Most times you have to live with so much clutter.
@@lljustice3877 dang I’m sure you get used to it though! As long as you can see structure and have an idea what you’re looking at 👌
Joe, what battery system do you run? Do you have a dedicated 100 ah lithium just for livescope?
Negative ghost rider! Running the 125ah ionic for the cranked and all my graphs! Heard about guys running a dedicated battery but haven’t tried it yet.
When you fish a full 10 hr tournament do you feel you drop voltage and image quality decreases?
@@christopherstellar the lithium voltage stays consistent until it dies off completely! Never noticed any issues!!
I’m new with electrics, trying to put together a live scope on my boat, I hace the garmin transducer and gls 10 black box, now I need a monitor, which do you recommend in the 9 t0 10 inch ranger? Thank you, I’m in education mode right now.
What I was told by a couple different pros was to get the biggest that fits in your budget. Good luck.
What garmin do you have?
99% of You guys in US use live technology wrong. Sharpshooting is the best way to use it and for that You need special mounts on the side of the boat that can be controlled with pedals.
Save your money.get 2 D down scan gps all you need.
Used that for years!! Built my foundation off of that!
I haven’t watched a video in a long time and I’m sure it’s somewhere, but you lost a lot of weight!
Yes sir! 100lb’s 💪
@@BassUnion congrats!!!
@@ClemonsBoats thanks man!!
or maybe just drop your shaft deeper in the water column..
Butch Brown would take you to school without ffs
@@haroldsfishingadventures754 No doubt Butch Brown is a legend, and I've got mad respect for his skills. Different tools work for different anglers, though. Forward-facing sonar is just another way to learn and adapt on the water. We’re all students of the game, right?
The title is misleading...ANYONE who uses livescope by default sucks.
If you can’t see you bait , you are wasting your time
Sorry, stop watching video games and actually fish!
🥱
Now, say it again without crying 😂😂
I said it before. I'll say it again.
Real men don't fish using forward facing sonar! If you can't win a tournament without using technology you are not a fisherman. You are a catcher. Seems like MLF and The Elite series is full of catchers. ;) In fact, there are so many catchers in MLF and the Elite Serries they even brag when using forward facing sonar to win a tournament or Angler of the year. Kind of sad for them. What do you expect for a bunch of catchers!
lol 😂
You will not see a major crappie event where there is a fisherman with out it.
I also have 3d ct scanner in my office. I guess I’m not a real surgeon, since I use that
Sounds like jealousy of the less fortunate
It took me years before I could afford one. Now I feel like a real man. I haven't got it yet but it's coming next Wednesday. Thanks for the video
FFS it’s a total different sport and they’re trying to call it bass fishing
Oh good. Another livescope unsubscribe
Do you even fish bro?
