Well, dang, that answers alot of the questions I had but I found it late, lol. I bought a really nice converter for my Turbo LS combo and could have saved some money. Great video, thanks!

Thanks!! Is Yank still considered good. I put a 2800 Yank Billet in my Silverado and it took almost 1500 miles for it to start acting normal on a fresh build.

We have many customers that run a yank. No complaints. My personal preference and what we offer are the two companies i mentioned in the video. Both excellent for many years

Ryan, I have a question. I had someone rebuild a 700R4 4x4 for me . I have not installed it yet. The rebuilder person put 5 gear planetariums in the transmission, heavy duty clutches, and a Fairbanks kit in the valve body. He took a marker and wrote 2100 on the converter. I'm assuming 2100 stall. I am going to be towing with it. Not every day. I'm not Trusting this person. He only does bench builds. The suburban has factory 342 gears. I have purchased a set of axles with 4.10 gears that I am going to put in the suburban. My question is should I get a better converter like you just talked about, Or should I go with the questionable converter he sold me ? The converter has the number 7 casted all the way around it.

Id stick with a reputable company if your unsure and have doubts. Always go with your gut! 2100 stall is probably fine though for your application
