After watching like 50 combo videos that just bore me to tears i expected a totaly uncreative boring dalsim combo video... but HOLY CHRIST WAS I WRONG, this video did more then please the eyes, it pleased the eyes, and it was super creative and enjoyable, I haven't enjoyed a combo video in a long time but just for this dadoppen, I am subscribing that video was so good, you deserve it as you put a ton of effort into this, the music choice was GODLIKE and overall this video was entertaining. It took me about 15 minutes to finish this video because I had to replay every combo at least twice. I just couldn't believe some of them. Then HnK came on...yeah, liked and fav'd.
It requires specific spacing and the timing between the EX Yoga Fires is very strict. Also, has to be on crouching Honda and Counterhit. To get the correct spacing, dash in on Honda and do db.MP, db.LP for a 2 hit combo.
Yes, but I used a turbo controller when I made this video to simplify timings. I think I timed the combo in question manually though, I usually do with fireball loops. However, this was made in SSFIV, I can't guarantee it will work in AE or AE2012. It also won't work in SFIV, because EX YF got more frame advantage in SSFIV.
@DaDoppen Thanks for the input, I didn't know it! I've a stick, but it's still too difficult. You focus the problem: don't press forward, and go neutral... it's hard because I'm used to do fireball motion :/
This isn't a video about practical combos. The bounce thing only works on crouching Seth anyways (with limited functionality on a few others). However, some of these combos will do more damage than a raw Ultra even with scaling, for example, the combo at 0:49.
@gorefrost Yes, it's very hard. I was so lucky to pull it off here, since I recorded in massive lag and with my semi-broken fightpad. If you have a good pad or stick, you can do it quite easily by pressing "D, DF, Neutral, LP, QCF+P". Another easy way to do it is with U1 on the screen, because then you can't get Yoga Fire.
@Damasterjj It wouldn't matter anyway. It's not something you'd see happen at a tournament and if it actually happened online/locally, you know the player most likely used turbo. Anyway, fun video. It seems like it never got old seeing Seth bounce back and forth off a catastrophe like that.
im trying these combos on vanilla. when i use the ultra, teleport, backwards medium kick. they dont turn left and right from getting hit by the ultra and the medium kick. does this only work on super?
@DaDoppen I main Dhalsim, and without programmed pad, it's almost impossibile to perform st.lp xx super (I did that only once in a billion of attempts)
+erbfan161 I don't think Dhalsim has gotten any nerfs in combo ability whatsoever, so not only should these all be possible, you should have further options as well.
@990rare That's from the new Hokuto no Ken game and it gets even more intense when finishing the bosses. The game is meh, but the music is pretty sick.

@Damasterjj well, Seth is the best dummy for the bounce combos (that I've found), so there's a reason that Seth is the dummy most of the time.
