Baker's Chatcast Series 6 Episode 7: EMF's James Atkin talks bands career, new music, and tour!

Hello! We're back with our first podcast of 2024 picking up from where we left off last year as we carry on with Series 6. My guest today is a very exciting one who I was really looking forward to chatting with....
My guest is James Atkin, frontman of 90s Indie Dance band EMF!
I begin with James where I always do with my music guests, and that's where did it all began for EMF? He tells me the story of the coming together of the band, achieving quick success with 1991's Schubert Dip, their huge hit 'Unbelievable' and how the band took to the fame, he also recalls some of EMF's most mischievous moments. We then chat all about the new and exciting things on the horizon for EMF including 'Hello People' which is the lead single from their forthcoming album 'The Beauty and The Chaos', he tells me how Stephen Fry also got on board for the song, the creative process of making 'The Beauty and The Chaos', and the upcoming January/February UK tour.
