  • Hello! Welcome back to another episode of 'Baker's Chatcast'. Today is another one I'm very excited about....
My guest is The Jam's and From The Jam's Bruce Foxton!
Being a huge fan of The Jam and always having a love for the music I was really looking forward to this chat with Bruce....
Of course, I start where I always do and I ask Bruce where did it all began for him and how did he come to join The Jam? He tells me the story how this happened because of an advertisement in the local paper. We chat more about the days of The Jam including their unique punk image which nobody had seen before, getting a record deal and the most memorable moments of the bands years, and how Bruce felt when The Jam split in 1982 at their height which he described as "the bitterest pill I ever had to swallow".
We then talk about how Bruce reunited with Rick Buckler almost 28 years later to play some iconic Jam hits which had an amazing reaction. He tells me how this led to the formation of "From The Jam", where to this day Bruce still tours playing all of the songs alongside Russell Hastings.
Finally, we talk about the current From The Jam tour where they are touring for the 45th anniversary of The Jam's iconic second album All Mod Cons!
I really hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did recording it.
I can't go without saying a huge thank you to Bruce Foxton for kindly giving me his time and Guy Helliker for the massive help in setting this interview up
    for me.
