Baker's Chatcast Series 6 Episode 3: Freddie Cowan talks The Vaccines and The Scenarios!

Hello and welcome back to another brand new episode of 'Baker's Chatcast'. In today's episode I am welcoming on Freddie Cowan who is well-known for being lead guitarist of English rock band The Vaccines before quitting in 2023 to take up his own solo journey with Freddie And The Scenarios.
I begin with Freddie as I always do with my guests by asking him how he first found his love for music to which he tells me how Jimi Hendrix was his biggest influence, we then chat all about the formation of The Vaccines before the release of their debut album 'What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?' in 2011, he tells the story of how an argument with singer Justin Hayward-Young resulted in their 2018 album being called Combat Sports before he tells me why he decide to part ways with the band to pursue his own journey with Freddie And The Scenarios with his new album Answer Machine.
