This coaster is soo bumpy but it's so much fun.
i live in md and go on that ride all the time and its only fun if yu sit in the front.
If anyone has rode this ride does it really shake you around and drop your stomach
Okay, so yes, it does shake a LOT I've rode it many times -the most recent being yesterday- and I forgot how much of a headache it gives you.
Yes, cuz it’s made out of wood.. very rigidly and it usually does not make you feel any much better
It’s a fun ride just beware of all the shaking of a wood coaster and take an Advil before your ride it
I think blue train gives more headaches
It's VERY bumpy and yes it does!
the bumpiness gave me a headache but it was worth it
This ride is so bumpy, my neck was sore for the next 2 days after riding it.

The roar is my favorite Six Flags roller coaster it’s really fun and enjoyable!

i think many people like roar at six flags discovery kingdom more since it has GCI's millennium flyer trains, so it's a much smoother ride.

I’ve rode this with my mom before the joker took roars place, it was a really scary roller coaster lol
It's a good park, but depending on how far you are I'd suggest Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, or Six Flags Great Adventure instead.
This ride is SO rough! I went on it a couple months ago... And i felt like i was about to puke O.o
On the first drop my soul felt like it left my body but it was super fun
I went there two days ago with my friends. The roller coaster just stopped at this point 00:31. Everyone was scared, one girl behind us was like "Oh fuck no.... Fuck NO!", we didn't know what happened, after 2 minutes one guy (stuff) came to us and said that someone took off his mask from the face, and we should always keep them in the face. The ride was continued after everyone had masks. LOL
OMG this is my favorite ride!
I was on this ride about 2 hours ago for the first time and it is BUMPY! I know wooden coasters are more bumpy than steel coasters but I was expecting a smoother ride since it's a newer coaster. But it's still not as bumpy as the Wild One.
Why doesn't this GCI woodie have Millennium Flyer Trains. Would make the coaster a little less bone jarring

this roar is in maryland. The one your thinking of is in California and is getting new steel track and a better layoutm
If Six flags does decide to rmc this into a joker clone, than six flags would have 5 clones, 3 relocations, and 1 original coaster (that being the kiddie coaster. After you do count the fireball as coaster, than that's 6 clones.
I think it's a little disingenuous to call Wild One a relocation, even though it's technically true, since they added the helix, etc. And if they do RMC Roar, I really, really doubt it would be a clone of the one at SFDK. But your point is well taken. SFA needs some unique rides.

At first , I thought the wood was gonna break until I went on it ! It was a blast ! :D
I rode this ride a couple times, I thought it was smoother than what most people say but I would still somewhat would like to see it become "RMC'ed" because this coaster is actually forceless, even in the back. It still is fun though.
If all y’all not cool with riding the Joker at SFDK and you miss roar a lot, come here to ride it for memory lane

I miss roar too like I remember my brother asking me to ride and I wasn’t sure about it I was scared and nervous then I went on it I closed my eyes and still rode it after it was done I was like hey this is actually fun to ride I ride it twice .

Singularly one of the most painful rides at Six Flags America. I rode it today and it just plain hurts your entire body after getting off the coaster. I still have a headache.
I wonder why this one is so rough compared to the one at Marine World. I've never been on this one, I think, bc I've been to SFA twice, but my home park is SFMW/DK and I've ridden that Roar my entire life and it never gave me a headache. Maybe it's the different train, or a smoother track but Idk. Marine World's Roar was always my favorite coaster in the park.
I rode this when I was in second grade and when I was just 8 years old
lol my first roller coaster was the wild one and I was only in first grade! I was so scared and my dad forced me to go on it! :D
The only thing scary about this ride is the line

I rode this today and it was my first time riding a roller coaster ever since this was so unstable it shakes you around so much it’s not that scary the only scary part is the first drop because you feel weightless and the other parts just give you a headache

its pretty good for a wooden coaster. when you sit in front its not as rough

I was on this today ... They remodeled this because the drop goes straight down not curve anymore
You probably got on the Wild One because this one still does the curve drop and hasnt been remodeled.

😁 it was a blast I was like ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh lets do it again!!!!! My cousin Trent couldn't go on it because he was to small or he was just scared 😝😝😝😝😝 he was a scaredy cat. Ha when I was 6 at Disney land I wouldn't go on space mountebank my dad did dent go on it because I couldn't stay by my self so I was the scaredy cat their 😝 for me laugh out loud so that's my scariest ride I went on….. Roarrrrrrrrrrrr........ So cool vid. But aren't you not suppose to not take videos on roller coasters tough
