…..Also congratulations to Andrew Doyle - the “presenting” skills are developing remarkably quickly, to the point where his professionalism now matches his both his intellect and his wit.
Wow,he sounds like a man who can think for himself. I don't have to agree with every single thought you think but the fact that you thought it by your self is wonderfully refreshing!
Great interview Thanks Andrew Doyle speaks for many of us who are tending to be disheartened, it's great to hear some optimism and talking about ways we can all push back. More of this please. 👍
Amazing conversation. Can I say Andrew Doyle makes GB. I love listening to his reasoning and questions. So intelligent. Andrew Sullivan is one of neglected intellectuals of the Gay community. Loved this thanks
Apart perhaps from his taste in bars, there is almost nothing I find to disagree with Andrew Sullivan about. Maybe he is just a lone voice in the wilderness, but - hell - what a balanced and persuasive and erudite voice it is.
In past years I always felt secretly guilty if I agreed with Andrew Sullivan since he was labeled "conservative". It was interesting to hear him speak rather than reading him. He is so positive and upbeat.
what a great guy! i actually bought that book after listening to another podcast with him! i think i'll subscribe to his substack! P.s. this definitely deserves more views!
Loved “MLK envy”. Conservative Gays contributed to the fight against Hitler - recommend The Glamour Boys by Chris Bryant. Love that Andrew Doyle is a Mervyn Peake fan - I see Titus Groan in the bookshelf. Life is not a game of goodies vs baddies, but good vs bad.
The swastika is an ancient and revered holy symbol, used to this day extensively by the Hindus AND the Buddhists in numerous Asian countries. That is precisely why the Nazis stole the symbol, so as to undeservedly and falsely profit from its reputation for peacefulness. The all-purpose greeting in the Thai language -- sawatdee (สวัสดี) -- is actually spelled "svastee," and is from the same Sanskrit word that gave rise to "Swastika." So, although I detest the "take the knee" nonsense, we cannot draw any lines between that and Nazism. If anything, the Woke Brigade are communists (hammer & sickle) rather than ethno-fascists of the Hitleresque variety.

I've read Sully for well over 20 yrs, and like most men my age (58), I have the utmost respect for the role he played in bringing the debate on same-sex marriage into the mainstream. He also made conservatism acceptable for gays and lesbians, and for that, I am also grateful. I turned away from him in 2007-08 when he developed his weird man-crush on Obama... promoting him so vociferously that, at times, it seemed almost religious in tone. He pulled a similar stunt with Trump (but in reverse) in 2016... demonizing him to the point of parody. Neither Trump nor Obama are perfect people and both will be remembered as average to above average presidents. Sully, however, seems to have this strange fetish for both, and until he figures it out, I simply can't take him seriously. Specifically, he projects onto Obama everything he believes to be good about modern Western Civilization, while simultaneously projecting everything that is bad onto Trump. I admire Sully's intellect, and I'd love to become a regular reader of his once again, but he first needs to realize that Obama was not the savior of western democracy, nor was Trump the destroyer of it. Until then... I'll stick with Glenn Greenwald, Bari Weiss, and Victor David Hanson.
Brilliant: "MLK envy." That explains the acolytes but in addition there is the establishment of the various industries who need to push the boundaries of the mission in order to stay in business.
I find the label conservative liberal a bit weird. I’m a social liberal and to me that means preserve liberal institutions, advocate for civil liberties, use reason and evidence to argue & persuade, invest in social programs like health education and social safety nets as tools to foster equality of opportunity, incentivise effort and imagination, take care of the poor infirm aged & disabled, rationally regulate capitalism and the free market, curb excesses of the state. Anything conservative to me was referring to the preservation of traditions, including religious traditions, even if they impinged on the liberties both of the person and their minds.
I think he said 'liberal conservative.' I think this way round it advocates for respect for traditional values but allied to the values of the enlightenment and allows for organic progress rather than revolutionary change based on faith based ideologies. (but that's probably just me.) The excesses of the state is our most pressing problem especially as in concert with the new technologies which have such a reach into our personal lives.
Woooo that man his good work has been everywhere. Been seeing a lot of good comments about him on several places. I feel more confident investing with him, I've been on the train for over two weeks now... best Broker for life
he is the best Broker, I have tried lots of professionals but only got exceptional income trading with Brian Walter he is the best strategy now earning over $15,300 every 10 days
Love Andrew Doyle - my absolute favourite 💗

What a great interview! Thank you, Andrews.
Great podcast, thoroughly good listen
Two of the best Andrew's going
If we have another boy, we're calling him Andrew. If we have twin boys, they'll both be called Andrew.

Great interview. I must tune in for the live streams as I miss so much with the recorded bitesizes.

"The Plague of the Alphabet People"
Someone should make a film of that
In the zombie movie genre, right?
Ever notice how the "take the knee" posture is eerily familiar to the SWASTIKA?

Free speech in Britain? Who are you trying to kid?
Free speech in the US is an even more ridiculous concept
