    It's naive to think that a group of men who know each other, and are even related to each other, abusing children aren't being informed by their culture. It's cowardice to label the acknowledgement of this "racist".
    There are plenty of non-muslim abusers but they tend to be lone attackers or groups brought together by the net. MGG often have sons, fathers, cousins, uncles, coworkers involved.

    • @emilyb5278
      @emilyb5278 2 года назад

      I think its more that people want to focus on the abuse rather than it getting caught up about race. Buy I agree racism and culture and religious cover up has something to do with it. But I also think it is about money they stopped selling hard drugs and did this instead. But there is a world wide issue with forcing girls into prostitution and a culture that backs it and sexual abuse is in every class and goes very high up and its about all of it not get the muslims out. Violent porn is also an issue

    • @emilyb5278
      @emilyb5278 2 года назад

      Also their are plenty of grooming gangs of all backgrounds. Tho they tend to get arrested. The question is why this group wasn't. They also put them in prison with other child rapists and then let them out. So you've got to ask why is there less than 1percent rape conviction rate and why aren't rapists locked up for life when they never stop abusing. With Sarah Everite being raped and murdered by a police man who had previously exposed himself to girls and police who have been convicted of rape, there was a video of a police man asking a woman for a blow job , that maybe we need to vet the police to see if some are actually part of it or being bribed because there is alot of them that are being aloud to get away with dodgy shit.

    Julie is a gender critical feminist. Critical stands for "critical theory"; that is, neomarxism. The subtitle of her book refers to "liberation" which is the neomarxist reframing of "liberty." I am not making this up; Roger Scruton's book "Fools, Frauds, and Firebrands" details the liberty/liberation shift and shows how it's rooted in the "New Left" (cultural/neomarxism). Julie's perspective is similar to the woke: sort the world into oppressors and oppressed, that is, collectivism, and seek to "liberate" the oppressed, which typically means absolve them of free will, responsibility, and any of the obligations that ordinary people fulfill in their daily lives -- the kind of decent behavior that makes society civilized.

    • @buckass

      @@squirrelhead6084 you still don't get it, what she is bitter about is male violence, she does actual work supporting the most vulnerable women who are its victims. All she said about how she wishes men were allies against this phenomenon flew right over your head. Mamy women prefer not to aknowledge the phenomenon either because in their mind it makes them be on guard, and anxious - managing that and not letting that phenomenon affect their relationships with men in their life takes some cognitive wnergy, and it seems not all women are capable of that. Always easier to ignore and dismiss the activists as men haters. How about just calling them what they are - activists aginst male violence without attaching your own emotional labels to them.

    The scandal regarding the grooming gangs was NOT because of the ethnicity of most of the perpetrators, it was the lack of will by the authorities to address these crimes for fear of upsetting race relations. If these crimes had been acknowledged and addressed 20-30 years ago a lot of girls would have been spared a great deal of harm and suffering. . Right wing activists got involved because no one else would, subsequently turning the matter into a race issue ten times worse than if the problem had been dealt with properly by the authorities in the first instance. The police and social services need to hang their heads in shame for the damage they have caused society No wonder trust in our police and other authorities are at an all time low.

      So why are they all in jail then? And yet Prince Andrew at al are still free, while Saville got to die a peaceful death. "Right wing activists got involved because no one else would" Right-wing activists did not know about it till after the crimes were revealed pubicly, like everyone else, and idiots like Tommy Robinson very nearly got all of the paedophiles off by filming the jury, thereby making a strong case for prejudicing the trial and getting it thrown out.

    Julie Bindel deserves some respect for sticking to her principles, but she does have misandrist views typical of old school feminist views.
    She says that not all men are violent towards women and that boys aren't born as potential abusers (which at least is better than some feminists), but she fails to recognise that *most* men aren't violent towards women and indeed that is the standard they are already being taught, not just her "allies".
    She is also very wrong about the Police not caring about being called racist and the fact that there is no cultural element to the grooming gangs. Even the victims say this is the case because that is what their abusers were telling them.

    Most of the points regarding male violence are still appropriate unfortunately.
    However I got really passed off woith the content references to ," the patriarchy" and " patriarchal structures" . Christ Julie is no longer the 1970's. There is no patriarchy t worthy of the label on this country.

    I’ve been listening while doing other things ( housework) or I’d have stopped listening long ago. I think she’s all over the place. If I wasn’t born this way then something happened from zero to two which created a right tomboy and later a homosexual women. I did NOT choose to have my pick from less than 5% of the population when hetties are happily choosing from 45+% of the population. As for the feminist definition she purports, then clearly I’ve never been a feminist: for me it was purely about equality and non discrimination.
