LOVE this video!!! You did such a great job explaining everything without making it sound too overwhelming! The Tea kills me! Like it's truly giving out the gossip Well done my friend!

Thank you my friend!! I’ve started changing my overviews to be a bit more simple and quick rather than big down on every rule (at least for Kickstarter games). The theme of this one is just SO well done. I love the tea room too 😂👍🏻

Those cards, player boards, and game board look massive, and thus the game looks like a table hog. With 4 players how big of a table would you need?

It is a bit of a table hog but the table I use for filming also isn’t the biggest so it looked a bit crammed on there.

Apistocracy means ruled by atheists (or unbelievers, literally). The bakery theme makes no sense to me.

There isn’t a bakery theme in the game at all actually-not sure where you picked that up. It’s all about the social buzz of moving up society in 1851. As for the name of the game, she got it from a different work that discussed the levels of societal buzz from high to low ranks (I can’t recall at the moment who she said wrote it).

Not sure how you come to that conclusion... If you break down the etymology then Apis in Latin is Bee, and 'ocracy in Latin means rule of, which is exactly what the theme of the game is. But even if you go to the Apis name in Greek, it refers back to some named kings - nothing specifically calling out the idea of atheism, which is no where in the theme.
You're losing the forest for the trees.
