- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Hyundai Veracruz Limited. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
I own one of these, 2011 Veracruz. It has a recall, leaky oil gasket cover which made the alternator go out. Waiting on backordered alternator estimated Jan 2021. I was offered a free rental which was a nice gesture. Other than that I love the car. This video was very well done *****

My aunt and uncle bought one just like this onewith 2 differences: no nav (but has everything else shown here), and it's AWD, not FWD. They love it, and so do I!

Hyundai has really come a long way from it's early days. This model is well equipt.

I like all these new cars, but the key fob idea in my opinion is one more thing the average joe has to go to a mechanics/dealer to get fixed... like all the sensors. I LOVE just having my Metal key, and no little remote that unlocks and locks the door, i just feel 100% sure that my car is locked when i do it manually.

My mom has a 2008 Veracruz Limited. Dark Bronze with wheat leather, navigation, back-up alarm, you know the works. I like it but we have had countless electrical issues.

@MrJeronimo94 The American/Canadian Version is sold with a Dual overhead cam v6 3.8 liter engine with some 270 hp and around 300 lb/ft torque.

@Jakeman2164 A lot of times cars are loaned to managers and considered demo cars. A car is still considered new until it is titled to an individual. A buyer usually can get some sort of discount if a "new" car has as much as like 2000 miles on it. I don't know what state you live in but here in Texas you will sometimes see new cars with "Dealer" on the license plate.
some of the Styling Cue's on this car remind me of the Lexus RX crossovers...i see distant relation inside the interior...especially with the power tilt and telescoping steering coloumn...the integrated mini spoiler at the rear hatch,and the front end (with the exception of the grille) looks somewhat similar.

We had a 2008 Veracruz, gas mileage was absolutely horrid so my family traded it for an Elantra. So far, a year and a half later, the Elantra has been fantastic.

Did this 2011 Veracruz come with those rims? Aren't these rims exclusive to the 2007 and 2008 models? I want a Veracruz. I've been shopping for a Veracruz. But I want it to be at least 2010. However, the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 models feature different rims that look like those on most cars nowadays (WHICH I DON'T LIKE!). I actually like the rims you see on this video.

You missed the fold-flat 2nd row! You looked RIGHT AT the lever and acted like it didn't exist. You commented on the "extra room" that the 2nd seats gave by sliding forward, but you didn't fold them flat. It's the same lever that's used for the back adjustment.

I love the interior and the amount of kit with the supreme level of fit and finish but the front is odd looking.

Can someone PLEASE tell me, does the car have to be stopped when you turn on the AWD system or can you be moving when you do it? There is NOTHING in the owners manual to tell me and the sales people at the DEALERSHIP where I bought it did NOT know and only GUESSED on their reply! NONE of these videos answers that question. Most don't even mention what the switch is when they show the fog lights! This seems to be a BIG SECRET! Jim T

what's the engine ? here in europe this car is selled under the name ix55 an it has a 3.0 turbodiesel-engine with 240hp but it has also more torque it has 451NM
hehehe yeah 11littlebigplanet same here. I've never seen anything as awesome as this car's interior. I would like to know how much room the third row seats have though and the trunk opens slowly, but aside for the price...... i guess, this is an incredible car. for looks and features at least ;)

@dalit5 the kia is definitely a nice car but you're comparing two different classes of vehicles ... the hyundai comparable to the sorento would be the santa fe
I really wish my mom knew about this before she bought her new car, she could have gotten a fully loaded one of these for a a few thousand dollars cheaper then her Buick Enclave

Those new Hyundais are really nice, i think the only thing that`s holding them back is the badge (that`s probably why the new Equus has no Hyundai badges at all).
Quality, styling and equipment level and price isn`t the issue.

Before I say anything-- I'm a Hyundai-KIA fan.
Truth be told, the Veracruz design element was terrible. Seriously. Plus, the new name "Veracruz" gain VERY little market share and since it was new had meager sales.
The Santa Fe is a golden name. BTW, I don't see how the new Santa Fe Long WheelBase is "boxy"... It's so curvaceous.
IT won't be outsold, Hyundai's Santa Fe is still having great sales, and with this new dseign, it only takes a week or so for it to be sold.
