The one thing that changed everything for me was maxing out my Thundercage (full unique ability upgrade + fully catalyzed and modded for ATK/CHC/CHD/WPD). Leveling up and upgrading new descendants is at least 10x easier when you have a great weapon to carry you.
one thing i learned is that mod dismantling should only really be used for the standard (blue) tier mods. combining rare, ultimate, and transcendant mods can give you access to mods you do not yet have unlocked
Is there a filter to only select common mods for dismantling? It's a huuuge pain doing it by hand. Also, I've gotten 2 transcendent mods from combining yellow ones so....that makes me want to do that forever
@@abigwreck I'm not 100% on this but I think you can filter based on rarity with the modules guy at Albion. Then you should be able to mass select dupes. Recommend you select all dupes first. @@digivagrant Yes, because as I've said, even if you don't get the 6% you can get something else. For example crystalized catalyst. You need that to be able to fit more mod space into your gun. honestly imo as old warframe player, the game changer is the mod capacity both with polarities and raw capacity using the energy activator. since the tamer is such workhorse is going to be the target for this items in my opinion, since the rainbow donut is the easier to farm that one will be the 1st in the list.
The rainbow donut is definitely easier to get. The energy activators have to be used carefully. I've played a lot and only have 3, used 2 for a total of 5. Not using them until I play all the descendants(-ult) and decide what I like.
I only used one activator on bunny or farming purposes, and plan to only ever use them when I have another one available/being crafted. it gives me enough time to consider the pros and cons of what or who I use them on
Tamar sucks compared to the thunder cage. Don't waste your time. The cage has those 4 additional expansions that create the impact explosion that takes out neighboring enemies. Its pretty much the only weapon everyone uses in this game. Bad design to have one weapon be so good and the other suck so bad.
I lost a transcendant mod, it was on the floor i didn't know i was full. Didn't go back to my mail or anything. There is a lot too do on this game but the rates are terrible. Let's see what this update does...
There's currently no way to search in-game for normal weapon drops. You'll have to google what mission drops them, it's always a 50% chance, so prepare to do that mission 10 times to get it.
i've been holding off doing any/many upgrades in normal mode, but is there any detriment to starting to upgrade the basic blue mods throughout the normal playthrough?
Except for reactors and components nothing becomes obsolete, so you should upgrade to your heart's content! Also, don't worry about "wasting" materials; they are plentiful (unless you focus too much on game modes that offer very limited rewards).
true..I have the tamer too and loving this weapon. I need to know when you're shooting, the aim circle symbol for me keeps getting larger. I noticed that yours remaing small. How did you get it that way? Is it a prticular mod for that?
Bro I just finished the story mode. Great timing. Any tips on inventory management? I feel like I will accidentally dismantle stuff for my other descendants. But keeping them in storage can be a hassle since I switch often
Focus on using and upgrading one Ultimate weapon. Don't store blue and purple weapons. Max their proficiency, then get rid of them. Don't store reactors and/or components you feel are just adequate. It is indeed, But the level 100 gun with basic module upgrades is enough to kill a level 100 monster, to kill a level 108 you need to pump more upgrades in. the 108 is just to let you know that the boss is harder again and you need some beefier upgrades to take it on. although it does not say it, just imagine that everytime you upgrade the damage of your gun by a good amount you are actually using a much higher level gun.... it will take some testing to find out when its strong enough to take down the harder bosses.

Since you can look up where any drop and go get them (hopefully without too much struggle), no downside. And you don't have to worry about what counts as a duplicate.
