Funny how you can have a connection with someone you have never met and only know through a minute long youtube video. His video has been in my favourites for about 15 years and still watch it every now and then. Good to see my old friend is as awesome as he was when I first saw him being an absolute dude on that original video all those years ago

I'm so happy to know this man is doing well, the video was always an inspiration, it made me laugh how fun it was to watch and also impressed me how good he is at playing.
I play several instruments including drums but when I started my one man band I used to record my drums like that on my casio keyboard, even learned to do metal double kick patterns pressing the kick key in a different way so that I could use two or three fingers in one key

I still can't understand why this fantastic idea wasn't allowed to live on in the new Windows versions. If anyone writes a Win 10 or 11 driver I wouldn't hesitate to pay a fair price for it!
It’s because it’s not that good of an idea, having a computer keyboard is not as good as what most current midi keyboards have for controls.

@@radio.m.i.x the software included only works till Windows XP. Tried 7 but there are too many bugs. Have yet to make it fully functional in 10 without setting keys yourself but even then some stuff doesn't work as well

Gotta give it to creative. I bought a set of subwoofers and two speakers set way back over 20 years with my first DIY PC. It is the only original equipment that still remains in use to this day. You can crank the sub woofer to more than 10% and I can guarantee you will get complains lol.

As far as I know, the keyboard has been discontinued, and it might not work beyond Windows XP.
@@cleverhardy5230 from what ive heard you can get it working on most gnu linux systems, idk about modern windows though
