    ‘Buy polyester darling’😂. Best tip from Ali. Now I’ve been on lots of cruises, I have to say I agree. When I’m buying my outfits for my cruises I look for non crease. Great video.

    Rob and Ally we booked a cruise solely based on following your channel. Then we ended up on the same cruise as you ( that was our little blonde girl who kept fangirling). I love your videos. The ONLY issue we had the entire 10 days was surrounding the tenders. We had BBC and we were heckled, our son was jostled and a fellow even spat at my husband all because we could get on without a ticket. I was so disappointed that there was not more signage to indicate that priority boarding meant just that. At other places around the world it is clear ie Disneyland, Universal studios etc. In saying that we had such a fab time we are booked again and trying to get in as many as we can before the poppet turns 12 😂

      Hi Tamara. Sorry for the delay in replying. So sorry that those things happened to you, some of which shouldn't happen whatever the circumstances. It is true that sometimes the cruise lines do work more on the assumption that everybody knows what is going on which is not always the case. Other passengers should also be mindful that other people may not know what they know. We really hope that your next cruise is less eventful and that you have an even better time. When are your cruises booked? Maybe we'll see you on board some time

We did our first New Year cruise last year and loved it. We are on the Luminosa witrh friends for this New Year and really looking forward to it.

    Great video. We have cruised on Princess since 1971 and 4 times on the Coral when she was in the US. We will be going again on the Coral in 2025 through the Panama Canal for the 5th time. We absolutely love the Coral simply because the Sanctuary is located Aft and we spend 95% of our time there. We've used the Medallion App on other Princess ships but one question still remains. Can we book Sanctuary space for the entire cruise via the App or must we still reserve our space in person? Thanks so much.

    • @robandalicruisetravel
      @robandalicruisetravel  Год назад

      Hi Sharon. We are so jealous of you doing the Panama, it's right up there on our bucket list but might have to wait until retirement (way closer that we would like) with some of the other longer trips. Interesting question about the medallion App. We are on the Majestic Princess in November and may try that theory out. Thanks for watching

      Plenty of people travel alone and you will not be lonely. There are plenty of friendly people to talk to, nothing to be nervous about, just relax and enjoy yourself.

    • @robandalicruisetravel
      @robandalicruisetravel  Год назад

      Hi Rowena. As Murray said below, there are lots of people who travel solo and everyone is so friendly. You won't be short of a conversation, that's for sure. If you're a bit nervous, definitely join the facebook group for your cruise and get to know a few of the people before you go then meet up on board. That way you will know someone as soon as you get on board.

      Hi Deb. We do have some of the Cruise Compasses from Quantum but nothing from the Splendor as we haven't been on that ship. We have the Luminosa ones though and the activities might be similar if that helps.

      When I worked on cruise ships, the pool was always emptied the night before arrival at the final port - may have changed ...

      @@donwood9396 sounds like a stupid question, but where does the water go when they empty it.?? is there like a drain hole in the bottom of the pool that the water goes into the ship somewhere into a tank??

    • @donwood9396
      @donwood9396 Год назад +1

      @@travelwithdebandnick The pools are filled with sea water and when emptying, the water is pumped back into the sea - through ports which are under the waterline therefore you don't see it happening - and there is a hole in the bottom of the pool.

    the art auctions are not only a waste of time, they are a huge con, nothing original about the artworks
