I am on Pacific Encounter later this year, my 2nd Cruise, i am in an Accessible Cabin, i use either a Walking Stick or a Mobility Walker. the full wheelchair cabin is what i booked as i am larger than the average bear and need the space especially in the bathroom. So looking forward to the trip, this is the 3rd cruise booked as Covid sunk the 2nd a few years back. Have appreciated your vids on the encounter as they gave me good looks at and info about the various locales to eat, i got see a lot of the actual seats to choose from too.
Hi Rob and Ali, I love watching you two. I am from Adelaide I'm going on a P&O cruise in Feb next year cant wait!!! you both give lots of useful tips and i hope one day i get to see you guys on a cruise one day.
Love your videos. Question. Do you plan to go on the diamond princess when it comes to Australia later this year. I've booked a cruise out of Brisbane.
Greetings Rob and Ali Hope you are both well and living loving life. We are going on the quantum of the seas and cabin is above the two70 entertainment area. Just wondering if it will be noisy. Thank you and safe travels
What a strange think, everybody saying that the best room location is in the middle of the ship , why than the best and most expensive rooms are always on the back of the ship !? :))
Love your hair ali it's gorgeous :) wow its grown :) or do you have in extensions+?? Either way you look beautiful :) what do you think Rob? Bet you agree :)
Hi Rob and Ali Could you get photo of interior connecting rooms. No one yet has shown on RUclips or websites. It’s important for large families which requires two joining rooms Thanks and massive fan of your channel Now am thinking of taking my family on png cruise Keep up the great work
This December we are going on Royal Princess, deck 14 midship. Do you think midship or back is better than front? I heard that if its rough seas being at the front is bad
My first ever cruise was from Sydney in 7 metre seas, yes 7! Winter storm. We were I think, on deck 9 midship. There was quite a bit of pitch and yaw rolling. But I just tucked my bed sheet in tightly and enjoyed the sway and roll. Stabilisers on those ships are amazing. It was fun. I'm about to go on another cruise and I can't wait. If you are unsure of seasickness, try the travel bands to wear on your wrists. Worked great for me.
We've stayed at Punthill Flinders Lane a few times. It's extremely well located for dining, sightseeing, NGV, public transport, and a pretty reasonable price. It's not a swanky place but it was always clean and well run, with helpful staff.

Have you had a cabin that's a balcony but under the captain helm?

Generally speaking if your prone to sea sickness or first time cruisers then my pick would be midship as it has the least movement.

@@notwhatitseems7409 I went on Pacific Jewel in 2011 and was on the outskirts of a Cyclone
@@nonamerooster5413 have not skirted a cyclone, could be fun...or not?
Is there a hotel that you recommend for a cruise out of Melbourne, for a pre-cruise stay?
