BCC is looking into extending Citycat services to the cruise ship terminal. In addition BCC is responsible for road upgrades to the terminal. At the moment only the most basic road upgrades have been delivered

Hi Guys, thanks for the videos of you Japan cruise. I just wanted to pint out that the dessert you thought were toffee apples or tomatoes, they are called hawthorn's or haws for short. What they actually are a custard filled donut dipped in toffee. I'm gluten intolerant so couldn't try them but I'm told they are delicious. Keep up the great work. All the best.

Hi Rob and Ali. Love your videos as always. This reminded me of my time in Taiwan (Taichung). I remember hearing music that sounded like it was coming from an ice cream truck but it was coming from the garbage truck. And that is what I could hear at 4.35 min into this video. Thank you for bringing back old memories.

We have stayed at both Rendezvous and the Rydges( Sydney Harbour hotel), the later for us, not the steps at the later, much easier & so is the walk& we aren't known to cruise light🫣

Hi Rob and Ali, thank you for your fantastic video on your cruise around Japan. My sister and I are doing this cruise (except we are going to Besan) in early October. Did the ship provide shuttle buses from the ship into the towns? We are not booking any tours with the ship (we find they are too expensive) and like to explore on our own, that way we meet lots of locals. Warm regards, Beth

In 2018 we hired a driver for the day, cost was $120 for the four of us. This ship prices are a joke. Nanda is my pick but Riri is also great. We paid for everything else. We helped paddle and from memory is cost $60 for the four of us. You're correct in saying that a video does not do it justice. An Unforgettable day. Definitely planning to return next year. If you go private and after negotiating a price, only pay when they drop you back at the ship. This was only advised to us afterwards, but luckily the guy we had was one of the good private guys. So much so he would pull over and buy fruit and even Kava for us. When he dropped us back i offered him some more cash but he wouldn't take it. Hopefully he found it on the back floor.

We were also on that Cruise in a suite on level six and it was wonderful, I said I could easily spend a month in that room. Yes it was pretty bumpy coming back into Circular Quay and our rooms were very chilly all the time, honestly we didn't find the food in the pantry very good deffinatly lacking something the restaurants tho' were excellent. The bars didn't even have Sauvignon Blanc which was poor and we also could not get any duty free which was also dissapointing.....would we go again ..... Maybe 🤷‍♀️

Hi rob and Ali the room looked small and the furniture I don’t think helped. I don’t know if I would like to be on a low deck. Thank you for sharing the room and showing us as it helps me and others decide if it’s suitable. As I always say your videos are great, I continue to watch all of them. Keep up the good work.

in our 4 cruises we have done we have only ever had 1 towel animal, which was a little penguin. he naughtily jumped into our suitcase and came home with us,..... hehe our secret guys

We still have a few of the good times from our first cruise together in 2007. I don't keep many things, but they easily fit in my little memory box. 😉

That is a nice cabin ❤ I love the adventure that even the inside and ocean view cabins have the walk in robes, it makes them so much bigger rather than having the normal wardrobe like on the pacific explorer.

Certainly nice and bright with that large window, but agree the placement of the bed under the window is a little odd. What's the point of a window for a view if you have to climb over the bed to see outside? PS Thanks Ali for wrangling those curtains so we could see how difficult it was.

Hmmm I'd be making sure those curtains are closed, imagine arriving in your cabin late after a few drinks stepping out of the shower and see the ferry at your window🫣 thanks for your review 😃

If you had a 7 or 10 day holiday in this cabin you would have to be very tidy and keep shoes and bags off the floor otherwise you would be falling over everything as well as each other 😂
