@@vietnamabc2290 yups, cuz S1 at M3 is very worth to deal, 2 hit for fully charge means every 3 hit critical, and if buffed with chen it possible to 2 hit critical, or warfarin E2 with + SP 2 per kill it possible to 1 hit critical, but sometimes it bugged, even + SP 2, BP still need 2 hit for critical or the worst 4 hit to critical, warfarin is good but overkill.
I must add something really important if you're planning to build your squad around BP ( like i did). If you wan't to play S1 because of his consistency, like Dreamy said, Ch'en is an awesome partner for generating SP. BUT ! Assuming your S1 is M3 : Since BP has a 1sec attack swing timer, and Ch'en giving a free SP every 4 seconds, this mean BP lose 1 SP every 2 SP overall. The key here is to bring Angelina which buff BP's attack speed resulting in 0 lost. This is my 3girls team for CE-5 at E230 (only BP has mastery and its M3). Along Ch'en and Angelina, BP can spam her S1 up to 4 time in a row which is HUGE ( its a 200% multiplier ) I'm not a mathematician to put numbers but I think she has a 66% more dps with them. If you have buffer like Sora or Debuffer like Ifrit (to shred armor), it's just become ridiculous. I've also M1 her 2nd skill because both skills can shine on many situation, I just prefer the 1st one. But even without Ch'en, you can still play Liskarm or Warfarin instead, it still work. Ch'en is just the perfect consistency BP needs to be at her summit. Because she's an operator who can synergise very well with others, I definitly can say, she is not that much behind Exu if the team is here to support her. But keep in mind Exu doesn't need anyone to be that strong. I'm just saying this to people which haven't Exu and don't invest on BP because they think she's just an "ok" operator.
Actually Exu need more help than BP to deals with armor, she has terrible dmg per hit. But this reply is 1 year later (the meta change a lot) so forget it btw

Question: Does BP S1 output more average DPS when combined with Ch’en than her S2? How much does the higher uptime when using SP batteries affect damage output? Also, I really liked this guide. I’m looking forward to your future operator guides! They always help me understand better how to use my operators.
Well, I did a quick math and the maximum DPS of BP skill 1 is around 2700 DPS. Note that, this assumed there were 2 enemies and she fired her S1 only. (Only can happen with Liskarm + a lot of fast-hitting enemy). The main advantage of S1 is that it has consistent dps.
@@peterquill726 And S1 scales really well with SP-generating team, I put Warfarin and Liskarm bottom lane with BP in Annhi 3 she hits like crazy even without Warfarin S2 buff.
I've put a big text in the commentary which answer your question but I will reply here too. The best thing to do is to add E1 or even better, E2 Angelina aswell, because BP lose 1 on 2 SP ch'en is giving to her because of her 1.0 attack speed. If you add Angelina in this core, BP can spam up to 4 time in a row her S1. Which is HUGE. BP is an awesome operator when she has good member to synergise with her. I think without Angelina it's like a 33% upgrade, and with Angelina, it should be like a 66% more dps.
Hurrah, another video for my favourite operator! In the end, I feel like S1 is the better general recommendation because you'll get more damage out of it when going into maps (semi-)blind, and when you just want to drop down a decent fast sniper without worrying about timing skills. I still recommend the skill upgrade order S2M1 > S1M3 > S2M3 though. I ran into the S1 vs S2 debate a few weeks ago and when I looked into it, I realized that S2 significantly outdamaged S1 when active. Even the higher ATK boost on S1 wasn't that significant, because at M3 for both, S1's higher damage multiplier is only meaningful when the enemy's DEF is somewhere between 1x and 2x Blue poison's ATK - at which point you're looking at enemies whose DEF and HP pools are so high that she's only making a significant contribution when they stand around for half a minute.

The collab part is really good and adds more enjoyment in watching the guides. Sadly I invested on s1 to m3 1st because of the uptime trigger rate and s2 sp cost is abit high.. but seeing the performance on this guide seems that s2 really is good.

Hi Dreamy, I have a question about your damage chart for S1 vs S2. Do the DPS numbers represent only the damage you get when S2 is activated? Or do you factor in the cooldown time (i.e. the DPS numbers are calculated by total damage over 70 seconds divided by 70... which is the sum of 30 seconds skill duration and 40 seconds cooldown for SP charge)? On the other hand, I had to choose to use my Dualchip to promote either SilverAsh or Ch'en to Elite 2, and I decide to go for SilverAsh... Now I have to choose to use my Polymerization Preparation to promote Ch'en or Exusiai...
I do not have Blue Poison but she's charming and cute as heck, need to roll for her maybe in Schwarz's banner. But hey good thing you collab with TakDes, makes some good .exe videos.
For me her s1 is really useful and dmg consistent for waves that comes in 1 by 1 and also good if you're aiming at reducing numbers instead of doing splash shots to clear the mobs surrounding your defenders S2 on the another hand is great for clearing waves that standby for a while before coming in together with another wave to flood your defenders. That is where you get the standby time to store your s2 ready and unleash it on the group coming in on your defender for massive splash dmg and also to reduce their numbers asap so as to prevent leaks.

At first i never realized how much value does BP has since my friends were all hyping about meteorite, skyfire, and platinum or other more famous units. then it occurred to me when i breezed through stages easily while they are having problems. I realized that none of them has the 2nd strong st sniper and i have like two of them. though i still maxed exusiai first since BP did quite well in her e1. perhaps i will e2 her soon.
They were hyping the underrated platinum but not bp? Thats a new one. Also, technically, bp exceeds at multitarget while platinum exceeds at single target. So, its not that they didnt have a second st sniper but rather they didnt have a second fast atk speed sniper.
@@bluewolf7111 because for them platinum is cuter with pegasus thingy. yeah i just realized that platinum has rather slower atk speed compared to bp. for this reason i never really bothered powering her up, not to mention her extra range skill needs time to prepare
I M1ned skill 2 because when i read the skill description i was like "damn that's strong" then i looked up BP and i saw that M3 S1 is the more common pick so i M3ed S1 now that i have both at a mastery rank i can just pick which one would have better use at a certain stage :3
Both her skills are good. S1 is for consistant damage, and better for Armoured enemies (At M3 it has 200%, Which is enough to beat the 1k Def threshold of quite a few tanky enemies) It even beat out Platinum S2 is good for taking down hordes of enemies, or for bursting down enemies. (With 3 different targets, and 1 target taking 2 hits, at +50% ATK, it can do some solid damage to groups, But vitally falls just short of 1k per shot threshold for tanky enemies) It just shows on the graph the damage on tanky enemies, With her S1 vs 2 targets, doing similar overall DPS to S2 to 2 targets, with 500 Def
Now that BP banner is almost upon us... If I already have Exusiai, is it worth it to invest 45 yellow certs and more on a strong second ST Sniper or can I rely on Kroos/Meteor? Thinking about chapter 6, CC, etc.

If you're having trouble deciding which skill to M3, just ask yourself this. Do you need burst DPS from your Snipers? If your answer is yes then Skill 2 is the better option. But if you already have Exusiai or GreyThroat, Skill 1 is the better option because Blue Poison can fill in the time where Exusiai or GreyThroat skill is down.

About the annihilation video. How do able to heal Exusai? She's supposed to be dead in middle part. What operator that could heal Exusai even though, the top healer don't reach the healing range.

There are some weird interactions with her S1 and poison though... Where the off-target actually takes more damage. You can see that in Anni3 bottom lane cheese with her S1 where the off-target crusher dies first. I also feel like her S1 clears the bottom faster than you showed with S2, but... I think more testing would be needed.
S1 is still probably better for most stages, similar to how Eyja S2 is better than S3 most of the time since it gives bursts of consistent aoe damage all the time instead of having super impressive damage/range/aoe while being more or less useless during skill downtime. Best thing to do is M3 S1 for general use, M1 skill 2 to get the extra hit on primary target, and move on.
im planning to e2 bp this time and im thinking which skill is best for end game..and ive seen my bp still doin fine at e1 max level with just s1 at level 5. I even passed a contract in CC that requires aerial hitting operators with just my bp sitting at e1 max level..so thats it im going for s2 and thank you for the video! Lmao "warfarin is sllightly overkill" That's true, i have S1 M3 buffed with warfarin sp battery it just got bug sometimes, i mean normally S1 M3 only need 3 hit to deal critical (2 SP full charge), and i got bug which my BP need 4 hit to deal critical, or sometimes when there are so much weak enemies and could die with 2 hit by BP, her SP bar just growing normally (like no buff) even there are buff overhead "SP2" XD Better to use chen as sp battery if u use BP with S1 M3 Use liskarm beside BP only if the enemy just too strong/bunch of HP, cuz if the stage only weak enemies, liskarm wont get hit, and no battery at all
Apparently warfarin won't grant SP while a skill is in use, so for that second while BPs bar is orange as she shoots her S1, I am not sure if it still has the +SP pop up over their head, but this could be the cause of what you're noticing.

s0undnin you need to train her to lvl 55+ and a healer tank too, anni 3 require healing tank to have an easy auto.

Burst DPS = damage per second when skill is activated. Average DPS is taking cooldown into account.
I'm just glad that other people also do the Ch'en placement in Annihilation 3 instead of Shaw.
Then Ch’en needs to be in a very high level because my E1 level 60 skill rank 7 Ch’en cannot handle the junkman.

Ehm 8:02 is it worth it for me to buy warfarin using yellow certificate? I only use 2 medic (ansel and perfumer) and i have silence for my 5* medic

Also, technically, bp exceeds at multitarget while platinum exceeds at single target. So, its not that they didnt have a second st sniper but rather they didnt have a second fast atk speed sniper.
@@bluewolf7111 because for them platinum is cuter with pegasus thingy. yeah i just realized that platinum has rather slower atk speed compared to bp. for this reason i never really bothered powering her up, not to mention her extra range skill needs time to prepare

Just amused that a video that begins with a skit of Blue Poison replacing Exusia showcases a Blue Poison benefiting from Exusia's buff.

I tried rolling her yesterday for 600 orundum in Suzuran's banner. I got her after 2 tries lol now time to save up for Rosmontis~
Both her skills are good.
S1 is for consistant damage, and better for Armoured enemies (At M3 it has 200%, Which is enough to beat the 1k Def threshold of quite a few tanky enemies) It even beat out Platinum
S2 is good for taking down hordes of enemies, or for bursting down enemies. (With 3 different targets, and 1 target taking 2 hits, at +50% ATK, it can do some solid damage to groups, But vitally falls just short of 1k per shot threshold for tanky enemies)
It just shows on the graph the damage on tanky enemies, With her S1 vs 2 targets, doing similar overall DPS to S2 to 2 targets, with 500 Def
Now that BP banner is almost upon us... If I already have Exusiai, is it worth it to invest 45 yellow certs and more on a strong second ST Sniper or can I rely on Kroos/Meteor?

If you're having trouble deciding which skill to M3, just ask yourself this.
Do you need burst DPS from your Snipers? If your answer is yes then Skill 2 is the better option.
But if you already have Exusiai or GreyThroat, Skill 1 is the better option because Blue Poison can fill in the time where Exusiai or GreyThroat skill is down.
Btw if you pair exu with warfarin you kill frostnova twice before the exu's 3rd skill get finished.

There are some weird interactions with her S1 and poison though... Where the off-target actually takes more damage. You can see that in Anni3 bottom lane cheese with her S1 where the off-target crusher dies first. I also feel like her S1 clears the bottom faster than you showed with S2, but... I think more testing would be needed.

Just M3 her skill 1 yesterday. Probably good to get her skill 2 to M1 as well for the bonus hit against primary target.
S1 is still probably better for most stages, similar to how Eyja S2 is better than S3 most of the time since it gives bursts of consistent aoe damage all the time instead of having super impressive damage/range/aoe while being more or less useless during skill downtime.
Best thing to do is M3 S1 for general use, M1 skill 2 to get the extra hit on primary target, and move on.
im planning to e2 bp this time and im thinking which skill is best for end game..and ive seen my bp still doin fine at e1 max level with just s1 at level 5. I even passed a contract in CC that requires aerial hitting operators with just my bp sitting at e1 max level..so thats it im going for s2 and thank you for the video!

That's true, i have S1 M3 buffed with warfarin sp battery it just got bug sometimes, i mean normally S1 M3 only need 3 hit to deal critical (2 SP full charge), and i got bug which my BP need 4 hit to deal critical, or sometimes when there are so much weak enemies and could die with 2 hit by BP, her SP bar just growing normally (like no buff) even there are buff overhead "SP2" XD
Better to use chen as sp battery if u use BP with S1 M3
Use liskarm beside BP only if the enemy just too strong/bunch of HP, cuz if the stage only weak enemies, liskarm wont get hit, and no battery at all
Apparently warfarin won't grant SP while a skill is in use, so for that second while BPs bar is orange as she shoots her S1, I am not sure if it still has the +SP pop up over their head, but this could be the cause of what you're noticing.
