Guess what she’s getting for Christmas??❤. As a matter of fact, all my family will probably be getting one of these in their favorite colors! You’re a genius! Thanks for the beautiful patterns!!🌼💖

This is really a nice pattern. It would be great for baby blankets. I have to watch it a few times to make sure I understand what the corners are supposed to look like so that I won't confuse the corners with the middle. I love the way you teach these so that we can understand your instructions. I have been able to work confidently out of my old comfort zone. I am a self taught crocheter so I get a lot out of your instructions.🥰🥰

I was gifted a written pattern and the instructions are a little different but the end result is the same. I am definitely saving this one and following your instructions next time, cause you explain it easier. They didn't explain to change color only after the shell row, so there are some I ended after the chain row. I am using Premier Just Yarn I bought at the Dollar Tree in all their colors, except white and black. It's almost done!! Thanks Crystal for the tutorial ❤👏👍

I am doing this blanket using only one color. What I do is at the end of the shell row when Crystal changes color, I drop the loop off my hook and put the hook back in at the previous single crochet and pick up the dropped loop. Then do the chain 5. This has worked for me.

@@janmaher2054I’m struggling with this still. I slip stitch to the first double of the round, remove my hook from the loop, put it through the previous single crochet, put loop back on hook…..then what? You said chain five, but I have to do something first. Do I pull the look through the single crochet, then chain five? When I do that, my stitches pull kind of funny at the first double in the shell to the left.
