    Can someone tell me the size of one square equals to? I am trying to figure out how many scans of yarn to buy. I was thinking 5 squares across and 7 squares down. Not sure if I should make the blanket even squares or longer then wider. Was always told that must baby blankets are between 36x36 or 42x42, Help Lol

    • @alwaysinstitches3
      @alwaysinstitches3 Год назад

      It would depend on the yarn you use, the size hook you use and your tension. The best thing to do if you need specific dimensions is to do one square, measure that, then figure out how many you need/want to make for your blanket. As far as how much yarn to buy, that will also depend on the previously mentioned factors. My advice would be to over estimate the amount of yarn you need that way you won't come up short 😊
