Excellent report as always Conor. A home win. Let's hope it's not a collector's piece. Totally agree on Jimmy. He is Mr QPR on and off the pitch and to play when you've just lost your dad is above and beyond. So pleased he scored and he is a total menace in the opposing box, which I love. That left foot is pretty good considering he's right footed. Totally agree re Kolli. The club has to sort this out. Apparently we are offering £3K - £3.5k a week, in line with Lloyd and to be honest that is pretty good money for a 19 year old who is still a rookie. Hope it can be sorted because he's been at the club since he was 8 and we really need 'one of our own' to succeed. Let's see. I've seen him play in the dev team a few times and he has something of a Tierry Henry feel about him. Unleash him up front and he is a very much a wide attacker who can use pace in from the wings. One thing we saw which he has done regularly in the dev team is this almost no back lift rocket of a shot he's got. The second goal is typical of how he hits a ball so flat and so hard. People blamed Gunn for being beaten at the near post but the shot is beyond him before he has even set himself. I think give him a free attacking role, a sort of 9 and a half position mixed with a number 8 and he could tear a few teams apart. Overall, it's all about Oxford now, the kind of game we regularly screw up after a good run. Win that and I think we will start a steady climb but they'll have to be at it because Oxford are no mugs. But we do owe them one for the Milk Cup defeat. Better late than never!
Superb review, almost poetic.. Cifuentes was on about momentum and this game had it in bucket loads. After Dunne got the important decisive opener, the momentum stepped up a few gears with Kolli revelling in the free space and his confidence grew which had a massive impact on the whole team. What a transformation. What a convincing win. Let's hope we can keep this momentum going.
I saw Koli show his skill on the Left some weeks ago, then there was talk of loaning him out, now he is working the Middle & Right side of the Park & scoring 2 goals. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT TO SEE, GET HIS CONTRACT SIGNED UP & see if Chair & Koli jell. Barry Parkinson
Great report as usual. Agree 1 million % re everything you said about Rayan Kolli - we MUST tie him down as soon as possible and if it were up to me, I would definitely start him V’s Oxford on Wednesday - he’s different gravey!! U R’s
Desperately need to tie Kolli down to a long term contract. I dont know whats going on behind the scenes but it needs to get resolved. Can't afford to let this guy go on a free. Now Zan is out he needs to start also. We will be comfortably midtable at end of the season.
Love your work Hoopsa. I’m back home in Australia after UK holiday and I’ll be relying on content like yours to keep up with how our lads are going. Come on you R’s.
Great video as always, absolutely agree about Kolli, we must tie him down urgently, he could easily establish himself as a real striking option if he wants to, Nourry needs to get the checkbook out and get him tied down pronto.
Great game, really liked how well we fed the ball up the pitch and didn’t fall into a lull back passing wondering what to do with possession. Haven’t seen the team look more confident to play this season so far and felt Dunne, Madsen, Kolli, Smyth and Paal (till subbed) had good / great games. CoYRs!
Good review Hoopsa miss the cardi! Kolli looked good a breath of fresh air jimmy played a blinder thought saito and smyth both had good games hope we also tie saito down with a contract ..
Having had a great grandfather who played for Christchurch Rangers before they became QPR I only watch the highlights these days and marvel at the intricacy of Kolli - he has everything - why keep him in the background when we have a real talent here. I go back off course to Rodney and the Morgan twins!!
well delivered, written & concise report, you always manage to pack in tons of info, description & comment inside a tight 10-minute format you’ve given yourself! RE Kolli, he was fantastic, etc, etc, but if he isn’t selected in the starting lineup, in Martí’s defence, he will want to shield Kolli from any potential injury from having played too much in a short space. I’d also argue that Kolli’s form has as much to do with Paul Furlong as with Martí & co, PF must be pulling up trees with some of those players in the YDS, but hardly gets a mention, but also might advise us not playing Kolli for the full 90’ vrs Ox or Bristol. Players are dropping like flies, which suggests there’s a different problem behind the scenes.
Hi Hoopsa. You're so right. Lot of positives, not just from this Norwich game but the last few games. It's just a little worrying that Frey, Dembele, and few others seem to be long-term injuries.
Another great video, let’s hope we can back it up on Wednesday vs Oxford. Some momentum at LR would go a long way to helping us turn around our season. COYRS
Kolli needs to start against Oxford I think. Dunno bout everyone else but outside influences like parents, agents and girlfriends influencing players' choices really annoys me. We saw it with Willock likely will see it with Kolli by the sounds of it too.
well after us winning at cardiff while you were abroad its a good job we won otherwise there may have been a campaign to get u posted overseas somewhere !
Somone, somewhere, got a bit drunk before the game and put ten quid on 3-0... i hope they enjoyed buying a new car with the winnings lol. We have ELEVEN player with contracts expiring in june 2025, I really hope they've got this in hand (suspect they are waiting to see if we stay up first). Sideshow/Kolli seems to be an obvious one to get on a new contract... let's hope whatever shenanigans caused an upset earlier in the season are now resolved..
The pre Christmas bounce to keep us attached to the back of the league. Followed by a mediocre December, disastrous Jan and Feb, to set us up nicely for a butt clenching March and April of scrambled heroics. URRRRRRS.
weird how the last 3 matches have been SO much better than the dross that went before - almost like a Psychologist has been involved to motivate! Lets just hope this continues against Oxford, where the right results elsewhere could see us almost half way up the table!
Good review but annoyed to see celar injured just as he is starting to pick up form but kolli looks decent tho I think he got a bit lucky 🍀 as the keeper should’ve saved both of his shots overall I think we’ll stay up. Any injury updates on frey and dembelle?!
Great video as always. Was it not the case that we must have chosen ends as Norwich kicked off??? Had they won the toss and turned us round we would have had to kick off. Decision based on the weather maybe??
I do feel like a non-conventional striker like kolli or lloyd would do the best up top for us. We have never been able to provide good service to our number 9s, so maybe not having a “number 9” would fix the issue😂
Great result and a good report. Respect to Jimmy Dunne for playing following his bereavement.
Thanks mate.

I was pulling my hair out last season seeing Armstrong & Dykes upfront when Kolli doing wonders in the YDS was being broadly ignored.
For sure. Let's hope he can get a good run of games now.

He really is! U R'sss
Good review. Much better than some of the other reviews i've seen on here today. Keep it up.!
Thank you, Paul!
Thank God I couldn’t get to the Cunningham to meet some old mates after that freak result. 🐝💤

Fantastic coverage as per usual. You have become the number one for qpr content. Keep doing your thing
Thanks so much!

Tenacity, passion and a great overall perforance:
Good review Hoopsa miss the cardi! Kolli looked good a breath of fresh air jimmy played a blinder thought saito and smyth both had good games hope we also tie saito down with a contract ..
The cardi will be back… some day 😄

Thank you mate, you’re not wrong re protecting Kolli, especially given his previous injury record
Hi Hoopsa. You're so right. Lot of positives, not just from this Norwich game but the last few games. It's just a little worrying that Frey, Dembele, and few others seem to be long-term injuries.
Koli need to be played more.
Well happy for Kolli - he’s pure talent, right out of the Taarabt mould!
He really is, that third chance he had, cutting in from the 1-2 with Koki, was soooo Taarabt
Another great video, let’s hope we can back it up on Wednesday vs Oxford. Some momentum at LR would go a long way to helping us turn around our season. COYRS
great review !!!

With Kolli's work rate and finishing, I'd like to see him playing off Frey - a bit like Shearer and Owen for England in the past.
well after us winning at cardiff while you were abroad its a good job we won otherwise there may have been a campaign to get u posted overseas somewhere !
My mate has been saying this to me, glad to have dodged the curse quickly 😂

by the way, i thought rayan looked pretty decent in the pre season v spurs.....
Yep he was a real standout that day!
sorry all, just very smart timing given all elements in the armory. Genuine leadership under pressure.
The pre Christmas bounce to keep us attached to the back of the league. Followed by a mediocre December, disastrous Jan and Feb, to set us up nicely for a butt clenching March and April of scrambled heroics. URRRRRRS.
jimmy dunne has become a bit of a legend i think, he's shown his quality a few times to save the day for us!
Proper Ranger he is.

Hadn’t thought of that, good point!
Definitely cook made the decision for kick off i saw it clearly
@@worldwide875 Interesting, new tradition? 😄

Alot of teams making us attack the school end first half we are turning a corner
Massive win but I still want the ceo out…I’m so glad marti still has some faith with fans.
