What makes Collaboration and Networking Important?

Greetings everyone! I had a little epiphany earlier today and realized part of what we as humans do so well is the ability to get together and come up with great ideas!
Sadly to say, that's one of the things that I have not been doing. I thought that perhaps, in order for me to learn and grow, that I needed to go through the journey alone. However, that is far from the case as one of my friends Armen from TheArmenShow has pointed out.
Collaboration and networking are vital skills to have in order to essentially help each other out. We all know business networking is important to meet the right groups of people, which may lead to better things in life. I've known people from MBA schools who network regularly and through these networking groups, are able to land better and more successful positions (or at least get the interview).
So, that's what im going to do. I need to start reaching out to more people and be able to collaborate with them so that we can share our ideas and hopefully share them with the world!
