    Kyle's Dad Guppy Troup was a Style of his own..

      Looking at his clothing, I can see where Kyle gets his liking for flashy bright clothes. Kyle taught himself that '2-handed' delivery though.

    2:30 "Las Vegas, Califorina"? Dave Diles does not know what state he said. It's gotta be "Angeles" but not Vegas. Very offbeat of his commentary at Torrance, California for the PBA Spring Tour.

    I wondered....and just verified it. Guppy Troup if Kyle Troup's father.
    For those who don't know him, Kyle is the 'two-handed' pro bowler who wears the bright flashy clothes and has the large red Afro hair, and also happens to be the winner of 12 titles including 2 'majors'.

    • @sludge4125
      @sludge4125 4 года назад +2

      He bowled on the tour through 1985. In 1989, his all new bowling center opened.
      He also owned a pro shop for a long time, and is a coach with a great reputation.

    As good as Chris Schenkel was as a compliment in tandem with Bo Burton, I really believe that Dave Dials is better. Just my opinion. Bill Spigner was a jack of all trades and seemingly a master of none. I'm implying that he could bowl well on many different lane conditions but wasn't a king on one as I wished that he was because he is so likeable. And, he always write a great instructional column in Bowlers Journal magazine. I understand that he and his wife, Barbara Urbanek Spigner still write very good columns yet I'm not sure where. Wayne Webb is just excellent. He always has been so calm, cool & calculating. 20 NATIONAL STANDARD PBA TITLES SPEAKS VOLUMES. Ebonite was wise to put him on their staff. I bet that both Webb and Earl sold a lot of balls. And he hosts PBA tournaments at Wayne Webbs Columbus Bowl that are a continuous stop on the tour even today.

      dettigs Fox Sports is infusing two million dollars into the PBA tour in 2020, it’s sadly needed. The average professional bowler averages $25,000 a year now. The costs to some of the newer professionals is $1800-2200 per tournament for entry fees, and if you don’t cash you lose money. How many professional sports does the athlete have to pay for entry fees instead of drawing a check per contract?

    • @BudSchnelker
      @BudSchnelker 2 года назад

      Would be worth roughly $60K in 2022.
