My favorite part is that I thought it was the “Italian voice reveal” meant his Italian accent and I still was super excited
finally something with Drum's. I am a bassist that is old now. When I was 18 I was awarded scholarship to study bass at music school. I spent 4-6 hrs a day working on the craft. 2 yrs later I started playing in bands from big band and combo's to wedding bands and pop groups. Sadly my slapping and tapping and solo bass material went to the way side. But now that we wont be playing in bands for a loooong time I am going back to study the solo bass music again. Thanks Davie504 for taking an old master (me) and teaching him to be the student again. All you awesome players hiding and making solo vids, when the covid19 is over GET IN A BAND.

when a guy shows up with a Victor Wooten signature model, you know he's serious business. Plus, you need to edit the piano, saxophone, guitar and drums together with your bass line to create an entire ensemble tune.

Yeah I get where you're coming from but a bass is a different instrument than the common guitar, while a keyboard is just an electric piano, sometimes with some extra bells and whistles. You don't really play them differently at all unless you're doing simple background pads or something on the keyboard.

Yes, I agree! There are a lot of great slappers on RUclips, many with fine tutorials, but I REALLY want to see Davie's instructional videos. He's got one hell of a right hand technique+position. And I never tire of hearing him say, "OMG" and "EPIC"!
