hey I have a question is it better to film voice overs first or last when it comes to a short film with actors I asked my teacher and he said last but I truly think it should come first and he's being really rude about and I don't know what to do!!
You might want to check your mic settings - when you speak, the S's and other high peaking sounds are very loud, and painful to my ears - I can turn it down but I still hear the peaks clipping (hoping I am using the right term). Either way, a Sally sells see shells recording might help you hear what I am heaing. BTW (I noticed it mostly in the first chapter of this video). Also, are you actualy using audio from you standing there, or is this voiced over? Curious, thanks!
Hi, for voiceover translation over the top of a video, how do I listen to the voice from the video (for timing) whilst also hearing my own voice recording over the top of it, through the same headphones?
Excellent presentation
Thank you so much!!

The whole reason I watched this video was to find that information and he never mentioned it.
Record at 48k at 24 bit
24 bit is best
Bit depth not to be confused with bit rate ie using wave file
👏👏👏👏
8 in away from mic to avoid distortion
-10decimal gain at peek
-10 decimal while above noise floor plus 8 in away to avoid distortion
What can Dave Bode NOT do?
Do not go above 0dp for clean sound
0dpfs do not go above
48 kh for vid and aud
