I kinda agree that Filipinos are one of the most talented singers in Asia (not whole world). But the lack of training and appreciation from Filipino producers just make things worse for Philippine music. Blacks can go toe to toe against Filipinos. Nowadays, other SEA countries and EA countries make better music than PH. We're clearly being left behind not because we lost the talent but because we prioritize those who can't really sing, even veteran singers say that.

So Hyang a Korean singer who used to compare to our very own Asia's SongBird RV.. here in RUclips..... so hyang is great.... but in this duet when she riches the high notes using her headvoice it's perforated my eardrums :) charice here as always... Superb!!!!

I like how charice just allowed sohyang to do her stuff. She sat in the backseat nd let her have her day. Charice was comfortable supporting her. It kinda looks like Sohyang was trying to out do her, but in a performance all you have to do is support and blend in with your partner, show a few highlights. But the important thing is both of you carry the song together. In here, you'll see Charice trying to blend in at every oppprtunity she has. I guess that's because she's performed with multiple international artists before for her to know that a duet is a duet and not a competition
In this performance, Charice sounds better even though we know how phenomenal Sohyang is as a vocalist. I think the reason why Charcie sounded better is because her voice is more similar to Whitney Houston, and so it sounded thicker and rounder and more like the original version that everyone is used to listening. Charice's voice shines best in her mid belt registers, similar to Whitney, while Sohayng is known for her upper chest register. Some people might think Sohyang's voice is more similar to Mariah's, which to some degree is, but Mariah's voice is very rare to even be duplicated.

I like how charice just allowed sohyang to do her stuff. She sat in the backseat nd let her have her day. Charice was comfortable supporting her. It kinda looks like Sohyang was trying to out do her, but in a performance all you have to do is support and blend in with your partner, show a few highlights. But the important thing is both of you carry the song together. In here, you'll see Charice trying to blend in at every oppprtunity she has. I guess that's because she's performed with multiple international artists before for her to know that a duet is a duet and not a competition

In this performance, Charice sounds better even though we know how phenomenal Sohyang is as a vocalist. I think the reason why Charcie sounded better is because her voice is more similar to Whitney Houston, and so it sounded thicker and rounder and more like the original version that everyone is used to listening. Charice's voice shines best in her mid belt registers, similar to Whitney, while Sohayng is known for her upper chest register. Some people might think Sohyang's voice is more similar to Mariah's, which to some degree is, but Mariah's voice is very rare to even be duplicated.

Obviously charice is much better than sooyang. But sooyang is good,. Sooyang's diction are not clear. And her intonations are sometimes sounds pitche, little bit flat or sharp. While charice sounds perfect pitch. Charice lower range are wider and thick. But sooyangs higher range are spectacular but thin sounds while charice sounds pleasant and thicker. And the most important is charice sings with emotions like shes telling a story.that she is ON the music.. Thats why you cant compare charice because she is on the other upper class level
