After Ikoria had a commander card slot they offset that by bringing exciting reprints to standard and good prints for commander also the alternative arts and mr t variations etc.
I'm a fan of the Shrines in Core 21. It's the first set of cards I've ever been willing to play all colors in Standard for.

The Mr. Ts have different art on top of different frames. That’s why its so crazy. Basri Ket and the other Planeswalkers only have different frames + borderless. Mr T has different art, frames and borderless

For those tinfoil hats, there is the “sixth mtg purple color”
they should.. make a 6th color. "clear"
Not sure how "tinfoil hat" that idea is considering that InQuest invented purple as the sixth color in 1997. They also created Mindslaver six years before Wizards did in that article, although their version, "Invasion of the Soul", was a sorcery, not an artifact.

Does anyone know of a nice website where you can see like EV's of the different sets booster boxes, and perhaps a historical price chart of like booster boxes and singles? I remember a site where I could see EV's of pretty much all magic products, but not sure on the historical price chart ability. For example, looking up a chart of how the value of Grim Tutor has fluctuated since M21's release.

The cards are already owned by a Patron. Rudy opens them and ships them to the owner.

Is kaladesh a better set to buy packs to hold on to than onslaught?
Well, in short, yes. Aside from the original fetch lands, there's basically nothing in Onslaught that's still valuable today. Kaladesh is significantly cheaper per pack, plus it actually has other playable rares in addition to its rare land cycle. Heavy hitters like Smuggler's Copter and Chandra, Torch of Defiance. Plus, the energy mechanic was so overpowered in Standard that I'm amazed it hasn't put a dent in Modern or Pioneer yet. Now that the top combo decks have been banned into oblivion in Pioneer, I won't be shocked if it shows up in that format.
99 Planeswalkers... but ugin ain't one!

Can someone explain how Rudy comes to his conclusion at 6:13? How are those pulls going to break even? The foil showcase Grim Tutor is selling on ebay for like 40 bucks a pop and the foil Garruk sells for about 9. The rest of that box couldn't possibly make up the remaining ~$100 gap, could it?
Damn son, that was like my opening a few collector boxes. Total bomb the first time except for a full art grim tutor, then an absolutely crazy second box with a single booster having a full alt art foil ugin, full alt art nonfoil ugin, and showcase foil teferi all in a row.
Not that many UGIN’s but a crap ton of Teferi’s
4 unplayable garruks, 3 unplayable basri, 2 unplayable liliana....and maybe 2 valuable teferis. WOW SUCH VALUE IN THESE BOXES....

RUDY!!! This is the 1,000th Core 2021 Collector booster box opening video you have done and you STILL have not commented on Teferi's ultimate ability.....YOU GET TO TAKE TWO EXTRA TURNS!!! So you really get to take THREE turns in a row! The only other Magic card in existence that lets you take two extra turns is Time Stretch and that is a $20+ sorcery from Odyssey and Tenth Edition. Just once I want to hear Rudy say " Wow, Mr. T's ultimate ability lets you take two extra turns....that's pretty sweet right there. " or something to that effect.

The Planeswalkers with a "theme" cards got their original extended borders, and their theme border as different cards. Check your Garruks also. It's the same with their extended. Why everyone is jusy focusing on Teffers I don't understand SMH.
