He was a Filipino Muslim who fought the Spanish invaders, Masta Siomai (in Market Market) are indeed chinese dumplings which are localized and named siomai, and those clothes/shirts for sale on those free standing stalls (in Market Market) are brand new, maybe old stokc but not used clothes. Ask the locals how to eat the find the loca filipino food and where to go to enjoy ur stay. Enjoy the rest of the trip.

The halo-halo you have tried is a bit different from more commonly known halo-halo. What you have tried is "Ginataang Halo-Halo" Ginataan (pronounced as gee-na-tah-ahn) means cooked in "gata" or coconut cream/milk. That version of halo-halo is traditionally served hot as a morning or afternoon snack. The more common halo-halo that people have been recommending is made up of shaved/crushed ice with various toppings such as ice cream, leche flan, sweet beans, coconut jelly (nata de coco), various jellies, pop rice (locally called pinipig), some other sweet things, and then topped with some evaporated milk.
The rice cake you have tried is called "puto" which is made from ground glutenous rice flour and is steamed.

You have to explore more of this country if you want to grow your channel, get engage with people you may talk to them, english is the second language more so if you know some local words like tagalog most spoken langauge in Luzon regions where Metro Manila is part of. Every region has its own local dialect but they all can speak and understand "Tagalog" which is the national language. Don't hesitate to ask people anything and anywhere you go. Tagaytay City and Baguio City are like winter cold places with something 10c temp. Countless of beaches are stunning and magnificent falls abounds all over the country, go now and enjoy have fun because its more fun in the Philippines its natural beauty is incomparable, and don't worry too much its safe to travel just be cautious and alert.

I am glad you seem to be enjoying your visit in Manila. BGC is one of several different Business Districts in Manila. You should also visit downtown Makati. You will find there 5 malls in one and also beautiful city life not very different from BGC. While in BGC you should also visit the American Memorial Cemetery and Venice Canal Mall where they put a Venice Canal in the middle of the mall. You can also ride the gondola boats just like you can in Venice Italy. Metro Manila ia a huge metropolis with a population of some 17 million people. ManIla City proper is only one of the 17 cities comprising Metro Manila. Have fun. There are lots to do and see there.

I think first timers in the Philippines should visit BGC first, to soften the blow of culture shock they might experience.

Halo-halo is an ICE CREAM dessert so you ate the wrong one 😆, one you get halo-halo make sure to mix it thoroughly, it is the proper way to eat it. 6:10 the tagalog language sounds like spanish because of the spanish colonization which i might have confused you

Your boyfriend looks like a light weight version of Khabib Nurmagumedov from the Dagestan the one who beats McGregor in the UFC😁Many malls in BGC try Uptown Mall,Mitsokoshi Mall(first Japan owned Mall in the Philippines)I don't suggest SM Aura kinda boring but if you like original branded fashion wear go there.BGC is beautiful in the evening you look for the 3-D wall screen.

The halo-halo you ate is not the famous halo-halo dessert and why you didn't visit uptown area in bgc, forbes town area and mckinley area. Also the american filipino cemetery in bgc. Hope to see that in your coming vlogs. Take care!
