Shows that music continues to spin forward, and that if you look deep enough a link can be found between all generations of music. Came out a long time ago, 1980, I was 18 yrs. I saw OZZY Live in 1983, on my 21st B-Day. Randy Rhoads and Rudy Sarzo played the strings on this song. Randy Rhoads (lead guitar)was originally with Quiet Riot and when I saw OZZY in '83...Quiet Riot also played that show (US Festival '83) and Rudy Sarzo (bass guitar) was now in Quiet Riot.
Can't go wrong listening to any Ozzy. Each of his songs are unique and yet he has such a distinct voice that it is always recognizable. I look forward to watching you react to more of his music. After Dio's wife heard their cover to her husbands song, she got ahold of them and asked them to do a tribute to her husband, and once again they absolutely nailed it.
Ozzy played at the Mid South Coliseum in 1982. He went to jail and spent all weekend because his manager refused to get him out. After the concert, he was standing outside to the side of the coliseum and he peed on some dude and was arrested. I will never forget that. I loved the concert but he was so messed up on drugs back then.
You're thinking of the song "Let's Go" they ripped this beat from Ozzy, I promise you, as this song came out in the 80's. Both are awesome beats, but this was the OG.
