    Why is Daniel Levy attempting to do the job of a manager? For him, ‘the club’ IS Daniel Levy. He is showing self-adoring power-crazed greed-fuelled dictator characteristics. I’m surprised the fans accept it so willingly, knowing what an impact greed can have on the spirit of anything, including a football club.

First comparing with other players (who have completely other backgrounds) and implying that he is not giving his best. Yeah it's clear that he is not at his best shape, but your task is to find out the reason. And the way to do it is definitely not with a video camera on him while listening some bullshit. I can't find the right words. But you can not tell a guy a made up success story about going to university and expect from him to be fired up, because you don't have any clue about his history and challenges that he had to overcome throughout his ilfe.

    I’m not a Tottenham fan but I’ve always had admiration for Daniel Levy. How he’s run the club and conducted himself. I’ve been made to understand he’s a local lad and a boyhood Tottenham fan. For this reason when I heard that Tottenham had agreed to participate in the European Super League out of all the owners he was who I was most disappointed in. I misjudged the kind of man he is. The American owners and other big six owners may not truly understand our values and why we don’t follow the franchise model which is prevalent with American sports. Daniel however knows better. He’s one of our own and he was prepared to sell out his fans, his clubs history for a payday. I’m still trying to wrap my head around his thinking here. He knows the history of our clubs. The community aspect and the fact that there’s certain things that you shouldn’t do even if legally you can. Unspoken rules. Honestly I’m flabbergasted how badly he’s misjudged this situation.

    • @tryheight8098
      @tryheight8098 3 года назад +12

      You make some very good points. And I think you answer the question on why he decided to join the Super League yourself. For many of us years ago it would have been unthinkable to imagine Spurs competing with the likes of Madrid and Barcelona, but somehow through his business acumen and ingenuity Levy has pulled it off. Okay now imagine being Levy's position, you are invited to be in a project to be part of the footballing elite, the sole thing you had been chasing for years, this project would cement Spurs's place in football royalty. Do you accept? Or do you decline with the risk of being left behind what you have been chasing for so long?

      Out of all the manager sackings in EPL history, his decision to sack Poch has to be the worst though. Also I think he's too involved with the players. Having watched the doc, every time players don't get their way with Jose they just go running to Levy which ultimately affects results as he's undermining the authority of the manager.

      I’d disagree. He’s anyways been that size. Yaya Toure was huge when he played for us but he’s weight never seem to trouble him. If a player constantly knows he’ll get taken off after 60 mins, mentally that must be tough for him.
