- Behind the scenes footage as Tanguy Ndombele sits down with Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy to discuss his poor form at Spurs.
This meeting is one of the best things that could have happened to him. He's on fire now!
Amazing player
Hes not anymore🤷♂️
@@asant90 because ryan mates on didnt play him once
Think his little flame burnt out 😂
Aren't u lot thinking of selling him now lol
This is very embarrassing for players lol especially when you played at a high level before in Europe and they ask question like you just came from a academy lol 😅😂 , you can see ndombele's facial expression his like wtf did they even watch me play before 😅😅
Of course they saw how he played before. But he didn't put much effort into it and he's lazy. Has one of the worst work rate and ethic on the pitch
Ndombele “ I’m working hard why aren’t I playing, I am playing really well in training”
Levy “you need to work hard and unlock your talent”
boom. Now he's the best midfielder in London

No handshaking, no greetings, no informal setting to make the meeting comfortable... Idk but the environment and communication was very lacking... The room literally seemed like an interrogation. Was the goal to intimidate or comfort Tanguy? Lol.
Covid
Due to covid, no handshaking
lol its not a conference mate
They tried to create a relaxed friendly encounter thats why they werent wearing suits
It's business, what did you expect? Flower walls, hugs and kisses?
Arsenal fan here. Its nice to see daniel levy sit down with Ndombele and encourage him to keep fighting. It's very difficult when you have such a huge price and coming from France. It'd great to see meetings like these.
Turns out talking about your parent's evening to a 23year old didn't really do the trick...
Normally, 6-8 months to settle in...wow. Thats some good insight.
Look at him now...
Very proud of you Tanguy
He won’t be a Tottenham player for much longer.
The chairman having a meeting of this nature with a player is an embarrassment. It is an absolute vanity project
I felt secondhand embarrassment for everyone in that room.😂
Moussa Sissoko......The Ronaldo of Tottenham.
Thanks for the share.
That must’ve been the fakest anecdote ever from Levy 😂
It sounds like something I'd tell my nephew and he's like 6
Lol it’s hilarious considering he got a first class honours from Cambridge and now he’s an incredibly successful businessman. He’s clearly always been one of the sharper tools in the box, I doubt anyone ever told him to “leave school” 🤣🤣.
@@zigzagnemesist5074aha literally not believable one bit. Can’t see a how a Cambridge graduate who in year 11 was told to leave school (and probably have to go into a special school for the time being) only for him to change his habits overnight. Blud really thought he could make himself relateable 😂. Story had no depth at all
@@nycytc8055 That's so funny, I cant stop laughing. That was one of the most stupidest motivation story I have ever heard.
Ahhh this has aged well
And there you have the problem with Spurs... why is the Chairman having one to one meetings with the players like this??? he should be no where near the team.
Look at him now :)
Excellent form. Brilliant
Still shyte
It’s a shame as he has so much talent but for whatever reason, that’s not showing through. He was at Tottenham under multiple managers and not could find a continued place for them in their squads. Hopefully whatever is holding him back he can overcome as it would be a shame if he is unable to realise his full ability and to express this to the World.
Just watch a highlight reel of him playing in a spurs shirt and tell me he's not showing his talent. More like his teammates were letting him down.
Why is Daniel Levy attempting to do the job of a manager? For him, ‘the club’ IS Daniel Levy. He is showing self-adoring power-crazed greed-fuelled dictator characteristics. I’m surprised the fans accept it so willingly, knowing what an impact greed can have on the spirit of anything, including a football club.
James Barralet he's ruining that club real fast.
So when the chairman sits down with his players to discuss how they’re settling in, he’s a power crazed dictator? Get a grip ffs. It shows that he cares for the players he brings in, the fact that he makes sure to sit with each of them to discuss their progress. A power crazed dictator wouldn’t care to find the time.
@@jerryrawlings8885 lol is that why they’ve massively improved under his tenure? Wake up to reality.
@@Delete240no because he’s stepping out of his role as the chairman and consoling players like a manager would.
@@Delete240I’m sorry but that motivational anecdote was horse shit. It was a line written for a vanity project. If Levy or Spurs fans think the success of their club will hinged on Levy’s charisma then they are setting themselves to be disappointed.
Daniel levy is a legend in many ways
is that tom hardy narrating?!?!
Yes it is.
Wait actually?
@@starredjelly4172 yeah
u guys are smoking some hard crack, that isnt Tom Hardy.
@@fastair8546 Yes. It. Is.
Aged very well
This must be the most embarrassing experience for all participants of this meeting... I mean what kind of motivational speech is that? First comparing with other players (who have completely other backgrounds) and implying that he is not giving his best. Yeah it's clear that he is not at his best shape, but your task is to find out the reason. And the way to do it is definitely not with a video camera on him while listening some bullshit. I can't find the right words. But you can not tell a guy a made up success story about going to university and expect from him to be fired up, because you don't have any clue about his history and challenges that he had to overcome throughout his ilfe.
Levy is the man💪🏾
no he's bloody not , the bloke is one of the richest managers in the prem , the man is a leech a parasite . profits over people is his motto . From a 61 yr old spurs fan , bring back sugar .
Levy is the business man. That's all he is.
I bet Glazer had this heart-to-heart moment with Maguire too
no. they don’t give a fuck about anyone at united
Which episode?
I’m not a Tottenham fan but I’ve always had admiration for Daniel Levy. How he’s run the club and conducted himself. I’ve been made to understand he’s a local lad and a boyhood Tottenham fan. For this reason when I heard that Tottenham had agreed to participate in the European Super League out of all the owners he was who I was most disappointed in. I misjudged the kind of man he is. The American owners and other big six owners may not truly understand our values and why we don’t follow the franchise model which is prevalent with American sports. Daniel however knows better. He’s one of our own and he was prepared to sell out his fans, his clubs history for a payday. I’m still trying to wrap my head around his thinking here. He knows the history of our clubs. The community aspect and the fact that there’s certain things that you shouldn’t do even if legally you can. Unspoken rules. Honestly I’m flabbergasted how badly he’s misjudged this situation.
You make some very good points. And I think you answer the question on why he decided to join the Super League yourself. For many of us years ago it would have been unthinkable to imagine Spurs competing with the likes of Madrid and Barcelona, but somehow through his business acumen and ingenuity Levy has pulled it off. Okay now imagine being Levy's position, you are invited to be in a project to be part of the footballing elite, the sole thing you had been chasing for years, this project would cement Spurs's place in football royalty. Do you accept? Or do you decline with the risk of being left behind what you have been chasing for so long?
Out of all the manager sackings in EPL history, his decision to sack Poch has to be the worst though. Also I think he's too involved with the players. Having watched the doc, every time players don't get their way with Jose they just go running to Levy which ultimately affects results as he's undermining the authority of the manager.
Other than a stadium, what has Levy done for Spurs?!
@@KhanivoreQniba other than a multi billion pound stadium that has been voted the best in the world? Or increasing the club's value by 200%? Or giving us one the most expensive starting XI in the world?
He's not a fucking boyhood fan, he barely likes football. Wise up.
He likes the money.
Ndombele just won Napoli's first Serie A title in over 3 decades.
Comfortably riding the bench while his teammates carried him.
I don't think the Liason Officer gets enough credit.
Haha
"private"
Spurs is the worst clup to play for a player. Levy is a negative man.
Levy is a boss
Wow, the guy who translate can't speak french

I do like Daniel Levy.
He is good leader
Will flourish under ANGE
This meeting and every other meeting with the players and the owner have undermined the manager. Pochettino, Mouinho and now Nuno dimissed because snake Levy had his had turned by couple of disgruntled players like Vertonghen, Eriksen, Ndombele, Lloris, Rose, Alli, and now Kane.
Why no handshakes?!
covid
Is the translator Qyburn of GoT?
Tom Hardy.
This shows how much footballers are really pampered - Tanguy is a talented guy but his work ethic is poor. I don't know why the splashed out all that money on him, surely the scouting and data would've shown his flaws and that he wasn't really suited to the prem or the system spurs played at that time. Lo Celso is another one, again a really good player but just not really suited to spurs
LOLLLLL Crashing out of Europa to Dinamo Zagreb??
NDOMBADBOY!!!!
No minutes in pre season, not selected in the squad for either the first league game or the europa conference game, wants to leave the club...
imagine glazers talking too players, they wouldnyt have a clue
Well... This is going well for Spurs. Sweet of Levy to tell him a totally irrelevant story about his own teenage school life. Even on context, that had no context. And it was almost certainly not true. Strange and narcissistic way to encourage a professional athlete. The body language of Ndombele is just shouting the reality.
It was almost like a scene from ‘the office’ haha
Now he wants out
What a disgrace of a club
This kind of interview is patronising and humiliating. Tanguy is unbelievably talented it is a travesty he is overlooked.
He's a lazy prick.
Imagine him going to liverpool and demolishing the spurs at his debut
It‘s sad to watch but I think he‘s no settled
He’s certainly improved. I rate him. I think he suits Spurs’ midfield.
Turns out Ndombele is a massive flop
Still at the same spot in his career 1 and a half year later. Something about some of these french players the arrogance doesn't match the work
He dosent have the fitness I think he’s gotta be the most subbed player in the league never seen him get passed 60 mins
He’s too inconsistent. Loads of talent but barely showed it. Maybe because of mourinho but next season is huge for him.
I agree. If next season he doesn't turn it on he may as well leave the club.
Now this clown is part of the ppl trying to ruin football
Finished boy
Getting paid so highly and then giving some stupid excuses

Lots of bad judgement by levy signjng Ndembele!!
he didn't get there
Such a wasted talent . He could have been one of the best in the world . His mind just isnt right though . Already a multi millionaire so not prepared to dig deep. .
They play football ffs 🤦♂️
Galatasaray
Tottenham's record signing? Why waste millions on a player who does not even have the right DNA? This is THFC, a British club in Europe for FFS! Look at the squad of Bill Nicholson and compare with the squad of 2021 and what do you see that stands out like a sore thumb? Do you get my drift?
This is trash he's not even talking to the guy he's talking to the liason officer
Daniel Levy has to step down now, we are the laughing stock of europe, the worst run club on the football side of things in regards to all the elite clubs. Daniel knew about the character of this player and how it was questioned under previous managers and yet he forked out 60 million for him? He's still out on loan today over in Napoli and he's not wanted by their manager either. The same with Lo Celso who's disliked by the Tottenham staff because of his attitude and isn't it any wonder how Conte laughed when he joined the club and basically told us our recruitment work was a joke. Daniel Levy refuses to allow the football director to do his job because he has to micro - manage everything. Ever Sports football tv show every sports radio now have nothing good to say about Tottenham, we are the laughing stock all around europe becasue of Daniel Levy.
Who said you were an elite club lmao? The arrogance is unreal. Spurs fans are half of the problem.

To me he us overweight that's the problem
I’d disagree. He’s anyways been that size. Yaya Toure was huge when he played for us but he’s weight never seem to trouble him. If a player constantly knows he’ll get taken off after 60 mins, mentally that must be tough for him.
