Ahhhhh. The no TX fault, probably a shorted electrolytic capacitor in the switching circuit… mine did that and it prompted my to do a restore job on it as it had also been modified for something else and the audio PA IC was fubar causing no AM plus a few other things, the PLL was noisy (sounded OK on FM but was very warbly on SSB), so it go a full recap, new audio PA, and all dodgy mods put back to standard. It’s working really well now and I think it’s a better radio than the newer Chinese 10m radios and I’ve got one of the Anytone radios to compare it to.
Went to a great friend who will sort this one in 30 mins, its an easy one but I have so so many radios I will never get to, just time to share the fixer uppers😊😊😊😊😊
