north of main east of rail road the west side and the old central decided to put all the homeless shelters in silk stockings n porter the west side made a huge deal about affordable apartments being built so house prices did not shit the bed they enacted a tax hike to build a new library and other things long and short they built the library on the cheap it leaked causing black mold the buildings been closed for two years no accountability we all paid for that in sales tax and north porter ave suffers still poor side of town

Great idea, but out of date. Main Library shut down because of mildew/mold. Many neighborhood grocery stores have gone out of business. Regardless of west side's size, most large retail, movie theater, shopping, and restaurants on close by next to I-35. East side does not have places like Home Depot, Lowe's, mall, UNP shopping w/Crest, etc. Even Norman Hospital has moved to west side. East side has lots of fast food, Walgreen's, CVS, Walmarts (big and small), and Homeland (no butcher).

It’s close to the railroads tracks so it does make sense

Ur wrong I 35 isn't the line that divides west and east side of Norman. It's the railroad tracks that's the line. U r not a Norman knight to be saying any of this all ur facts r wrong
