    As a learner doing crocheting, I am LOVING Happy Berry video tutorials. She goes relatively slowly compared to other supposed beginner tutorials, she repeats steps when necessary and I have now recommended her to all of my friends who are keen to learn a new skill-particularly during this Covid19 when we all have a lot more time on our hands.
    I am ridiculously hooked (excuse the pun🥴) to Happy Berry and am so chuffed with the beanies, blankets, dog blanket with Happy Berry letter tutorials (so puppy’s name crocheted on it), and scarves I have created.
    All due to a great teacher on Happy Berry who obviously GETS IT regarding the need to make crocheting attainable for everyone-even me, who I thought was useless when it comes to creating something.
    I am very thankful.

    This tutorial has been the best so far. I have been making a baby blanket and really needed a letter B. Some of the other tutorials were a little difficult to follow. • @britneyhicks4541
      @britneyhicks4541 7 лет назад +5

      Ellie Elenore the best way I find to make things bigger and smaller is to just use a different size hook. if you want to make it 3d, you could just make two of them and sew them together, if you want to stuff it maybe go around around the outside with a single crochet to make them a little larger so when you sew them together there's room for stuffing. just a suggestion, I don't really great my own patterns, but sometimes I improvise. good luck. :)

    Ugh. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a lefty trying to crochet a righties pattern, lol. My B is mammoth compared to the A and in order for mine to look right, I have to turn it upside down for the right facing side to face forward. Now the top half of my B is bigger than the bottom half of it. I laid my A on top of the B and the whole top of the B is the entire dc size bigger. Not sure if I explained that clearly enough for you to understand what I mean, lol. In short, my B is much bigger than the A height-wise.

    I have done the letter c twice now and both times I come up two chains short. I can count to 25 do I know I have the correct number of chains. I even slowed the speed down to make sure I am making each stitch correctly. So what am I doing wrong?

  • @angelicasalesg

    I don't know why but when crocheting C it doesn't curve at all, I've finished with a long bar instead of a C shape :/ how could I get more curved inside corners? The same happened when I tried the S but a woman left a suggestion which worked perfectly! Thanks in advance ;) these series are very helpful to me.

    hi there! i'm new to crochet, these videos help so much! When doing the B, as a beginner it is a bit difficult. So when fastening of at the "P" stage, i tried cutting of the yarn, skipping the SC, HSC & DC. Instead i cut of the Yarn at the "P" stage and 3 bars down the curve i started a new yarn and chained 9 from there. I find it easier as a beginner and also a bit neater.
    Sorry if i don't make sense - new to the terminology

    Thank you so much for your videos. I'm making a baby blanket and I'm missing the letters M and R. The baby shower is next week. Do you a written pattern so that I can finish the name? Thank you, much appreciate it.

    Hiya! I was working on a baby blanket and I wanted to crochet a name and add it to the blanket. Have you got a video on how to attach the letters to a blanket? My blanket is made of single crochet stitches (us single). Hope you can help...many thanks! :-)
