- Following on from our alphabet series, today I show you how to crochet the letters E, F and L. They all have a similar structure so I thought I would share them all in one video. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for this great and easy tutorial! I reduced the starting chain for the "L" to 19 so it would be exactly the same height as my "F." It was probably a matter of my tension, but just in case anyone else runs into that problem it's a super simple fix & the proportions still look great! The "A" from the other video took a couple of tries to get the size right- the first try was about an inch larger, but I ended up settling on a starting chain of 22. I'm pleased with how the turned out. Thanks again for the tutorials!

I am having trouble with the f don’t know why I did the e perfectly help
I think she’s off by a chain because no matter how I count it there is not enough chains to finish
im stuck on the letter e center band connect. had no problem with all the other letters
Hello, thank you for your great letter patterns and tutorials. i just wanted to comment to mention that if anyone is a left handed crocheter and their L is coming out backwards, do 11 DCs before the 5 dec, then the 6 after it and you get the right shape without having to flip it to the wrong side... xxxx

U can double or triple the Chain and also double or triple f mid and first part
you can use a bigger hook maybe like a 5 or 6.

Can you do crochet numbers? There are only 9 that you have to do, because you did "O" Which could be 0.

I'm not sure they'd work if I just flip the video, your letters would face the wrong direction? I'm not left handed so can't test these things
My granddaughter is graduating high school in 2017. I made a corner to corner afghan in her school colors and was able to do her name, Malia, with the letter tutorials. It turned out great! I am so grateful for all the turtorials. Dee
