AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME... I LOVE your alphabet series. I'm making a Breast Cancer Awareness afghan & I'm crocheting the letters for "FAITH" & "COURAGE" along with some crocheted pink ribbons to attach to the afghan. I had to make a minor adjustment to the letters due to the size, instead of a double crochet I'm doing a half double, the size is PERFECT. I can't thank you enough for your time & talent, without you my afghan wouldn't be possible. God bless you !!!!
Thank you for making the alphabet available to crochet. I will crochet my grand children's names and have my husband prepare boards to attach them to. Hand them over their beds.
In response to one of your subscribers I said I followed the pattern for the g and was also not getting it, and that she wasn't doing anything wrong, I am here to now say I was absolutely wrong, I did try it out again and it came out perfect.
Lovely, just a small suggestion, for the I, after Complete the one half side when we go to the other side by slip stiches, instead of double Crochets, try doing triple crochet in the next two chains and then chain 1 and slip stich in the same stitch
Mine looked a bit too much like a C so at the end I chained an extra 3, then, 2nd chain from hook did 1 DC in the remaining 2 stitches and then slip stitched to join and make it more straight.....if that makes sense lol
If you follow the steps in reverse you get the G if you're lefthanded. So you start with the part with the 3 double crochets instead of the 4 blocks of 1-2-1-2 etc...=)
I know this is like a year late, but being a beginner myself I think I'm figuring out that the like angle of where you're putting the stitches/etc makings it straight/curvy/etc, so that might be it? haha, idk if I'm making sense lol
my G looks like a C.....I've even ripped it a few times and tried again to make sure I was following along exactly... :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong...
You are not doing anything wrong, I am a pretty good crocheter, and I wrote it down and followed the instructions both by reading over what she said while she was doing it and still didn't get it, I just ripped out the piece and unsubscribe
@@jazrigz I know this is two years late (and 4 years late to the person you responded too haha), but someone else said "Mine looked a bit too much like a C so at the end I chained an extra 3, then, 2nd chain from hook did 1 DC in the remaining 2 stitches and then slip stitched to join and make it more straight" (idk if that will help as I am just learning to crochet haha)
Ye, adding the 3 chains does help slightly, also, just curving it with ur hand helps a bit more. i curved it then sewesd another one on the opposite side :) It came out a lot better i know im 6 yrs, 3 yrs and 1yr late on u guys 😅

It would be nice if you have Closed Captioned on your screen so we can follow it easy with CC.

Can you please have a tutorial for letter t, ty so much
Can these be made a little bigger with a different hook
+HappytoobNatural G probably, you could also change the yarn :) but if you want it really bigger maybe at least 1.5 sizes bigger (3mm to 5.5mm)
