He is one of the most consistent and solid next-gen players. Maybe a little bit of an underwhelming season for him, but he will be one of the top players in the future, I guarantee!

@Luis Alejandro Rankings in tennis do not lie,you can't say he is overrated,he is number 6 in the world.
Of all the next gen, he's the one I think who visibly wants it most. There are though some technical shortfalls in his game that hold him back. His lack of a decent slice backhand being one.

I like him, he's a great player, but that's improbable imo. That was already in the third round. He would have had to beat Thompson, Zverev, Busta and Thiem. Thiem wins the H2H stats, also won at the ATP finals on hard court, even though he played below his usual level, has a much better record in slams and Tsitsipas isn't the best in long matches. Thiem seems to have better stamina (or a bigger fighting spirit, Idk). If you look at all slams Stefanos has played so far, you'll see that he always dropped out as soon as he had to play a 5-setter (only exceptions: Australian Open this year where he was beaten by Raonic in straight sets, so he dropped out before having to play a 5-setter, and the first round of this year's RG where he won in 5 sets against qualifier Munar.. apart from RG this year he never went deep in a GS, and it was the only 5 set match he has ever won)

@@robertomangani3788 Only player who could have beaten Tsitsipas had he not choked that Coric match up was Thiem in the possible final. Tsitsipas gamestyle just dominates Zverev (5-1 h2h) to a point were that would have most likely been a 3 sets victory for Stefanos. Busta could have troubled him but i'd pick Tsitsipas in that one also.

WTF... Are tennis players getting bigger and stronger? AND they play on the fucking line now lol, they should consider making the court a bit bigger maybe in the next 5 years. Great tennis from this guy, looks more solid than the German one that loves to play marathon matches.

@@Delran888 I always felt that tsitsipas is most the times punching above his weight and in the long run the sustainability will be tested... Cannot dominate or be consistent in winning titles...
