looked highly impressive in the early part of 2021. Had a breakthrough clay-court season. But since that heartbreaking defeat in the FO finals, his mental strength has taken toll and his spirit seems to be dampened after that agonizing loss. He hasn't been the same since then. Hopefully, he finds more motivation and returns with a bang next year. A talent which tennis can't afford to lose.
If Stefanos want to be among the top 3 constantly during the following years, he must improve his backhand's slice, because he is still fragile. However, 2022 can become the year during which he will become the main favorite on clay.
He is a great all round player but he probably needs more serious weapons in his game to aim for no 1. I'm sure he will improve though, both in mentality and in tennis skills. He is just 23,the youngest member of the top 5.
Tsitsipas’ footwork and balance just a beautiful sight for the eyes! His backhand just beautiful so glad he made it to times too 100 photographs for the year! Murray eat your heart out and rub that metal hip of yours
Federer was a four time grand slam champion at Tsitsipas' age. Federer didn't have such glaring weaknesses in defense and on the return of serve, and his attacking game was much more potent, too. His creativity, touch, reflexes were in a completely different league. Stefanos is the best hope we-Roger fans-have, but nobody is the new Federer.
Stefanos has great ambition to become no1, however his winners almost are from forehand strokes and that is not enough to defeat Novak and others in next gen. He has to improve his one hand-backhand.
Toilet break comments is so over now? Come on please that is getting a bit stale now? Have any of you not make a mistake before and how would you like it to be constantly reminded of that mistake unless you are all perfect human beings - 2022 is looming and Murray who started this shit will not even make as he is over? Murray had disgraced himself and you guys are supporting a bully!
@@samirsakani4785 well Tsitsipas has beaten Zverev in all their clay court matches .. also Zverev was 2-3 years ahead in the ATP tour so there is definitely still room for growth for Tsitsipas

Here’s a thing. Fabulous player, handsome guy, all the makings of a proper superstar. And tennis needs superstars. But I get the feeling that people don’t really love Tsitsipas. Is there something a bit cold and standoffish about him that people don’t connect with? I don’t know. Just a feeling.
He likes to extend his bathroom pauses during crucial parts of the match. That is why players have to change shirt, shoes, and socks on the court now and can go to the bathroom anymore. Just an example why he put many people against him this year. Though he played a great first 2 Sets in FO-final but then he started to make mistakes while Djokovic stepped up his game...
@@mysteriousbo4168 I don’t think it’s the bathroom breaks. They’re annoying but a lot of players have their own tricks and ploys to put opponents off. Gamesmanship is part of games. Like the way Zverev always makes people wait for him at the coin toss and then when he finally walks over it’s always with the racket still in its plastic wrapper which he then unwraps while looking like he’s got better things to do. Part of the psychodrama. The thing I’m talking about is that real connection the fans have with certain players. Nadal and Federer had it in spades. And now that they’re slowly bowing out, tennis needs someone to connect at that level. Alcaraz maybe? We’ll see. But I don’t think there’s anyone in the top ten that has the X-factor.
No, you ain't great if you are not hated. It's pure envy. He is different for sure and the average Joe can't identify with him. He isn't loved by whom??? By some RUclipsrs; ie a fraction of tennis fans?

Yes , tennis can afford to lose him. Like losing much bigger players than it has lost before.

He should have sacked Mouratoglou and leave his father. Only Zverev has improved his game with his parent.
He had a great year! I’m sure he will do even better next year
Great year for the champ! Even greater things for him hopefully next year!!
