- Good evening all,
I hope you've had a lovely weekend.
I'm going to run a series of videos about Sacred Places, I'm not sure how often they will be yet - perhaps every other week. In this part one, I'll be taking you to two places. Both of these involve water, the element of Winter according to the traditions of Chinese Medicine.
Firstly, we begin our exploration of sacred spaces with considering the places on our doorstep and local vicinity. So firstly I'm taking you to the local woodland with a small beck threading through it (beck is an old Norse word meaning stream). Then I'm excited to show you Walloper Well, between Waddington and Newton-in-Bowland.
This centuries-old Well trough, holding its dark, still waters on a wild and remote roadside edge, shows us its endurance - surviving vandalism, misogynistic folklore, and damage by vehicles during World War Two. And still it flows.
This video is a little more raw than my usual content (I'm learning to let go a little more!) so I'm going to upload it now before I overthink it and do any more editing! :D
Please like, comment and subscribe and become part of our community.
Much love

When living in the New forest I was told of a place that was said to have dark energy and wasn't a good place to go; that's after spending 2 days camping there and nothing, nada, zilch - in fact I slept like a log and my snoring probably warded off anything nasty. Burley which was 5 miles from where i was living was a favourite spot The woodland between Burley and Ringwood is particularly ancient. All good as usual sister, BB
