Just a few miles from this ford here, this week I saw two youths on a motorbike no helmets no number plate, go through a red light then around a traffic island and over a pedestrian crossing on the wrong side of the road right in front of a police car at a junction, the police turned in the opposite direction and drove away.
And it's not even a flood, that's how it is most of the time. I know you know they don't give a flying F about your friend hope he or she is ok, dogs are cool 👍

I remember the days when a bobby reprimanded my sister for cycling on a wide shopping parade and police in a car advising my father he had a spent rear light. I only see blue light polis cars going hell for leather for the A1...much more exciting for them.
“Zero tolerance” when it comes to motoring offences but 100% tolerance when it comes to burglaries, mugging, shoplifting and most other criminal activity!
Britain 2023 summed up right here , police would rather ticket people for splashing through water and wrecking there own vehicles, which if they want to wreck that’s up to them , than sort out real criminals and crime that goes on everyday , the reason , targeting the motorists is easy pickings, easy money . If they put in as much effort targeting real criminals as they do petty nonsense like this then the U.K. wouldn’t be in the state it is . Speed and amount of splashing didn't seem to be consistent with who they pulled over. They appeared to selectively pull over certain vehicles depending how the piggy felt.

From a distance it looks like it's not the story, that never ends, but the uploading of the same old scenes over and over again. It has been closed for months. But you can't even drive a tractor through there because there are huge concrete barriers on both sides. This is a replay of an earlier shot.
That's almost the shallowest the ford has been and still a Merc driver fecks it. "I've made a mistake.. and the car is now stuck" No mate. The car is now scrap.
All of those cars that get waterlogged and also Hydrolocked have suffered expensive repairs. These cars will find their way onto the secondhand market, and many unsuspecting buyers will be ripped-off. The damage to those vehicles becomes evident months from the day that they 'drowned'.

It's on most written driving exams I've taken here in the states, one assumes it is on the UK exams as well. Safer when it's deeper, just kills the car. Some cities here also have ordinances about deliberately splashing pedestrians as well.

You don't need signs or warnings unless you're an idiot. I went through a 4 inch deep flood yesterday and I crawled through at 2 mph because even 4 inches of water can do damage to your car. Most of these people are idiots but they entertain us.

The ford is running pretty shallowly, that was a masterstroke to drown the Merc. It's engine out and head off I'm afraid. Expensive.

Basically, none of the commentators know why the Police were stopping people. How do you genius types know there wasn't a spotter along the road flagging up cars with no insurance, MOT, tax or other offences?
