Why did Lucy say Jay was 'missing' when she'd just been on the phone with him. He wasn't missing at 8.30. She should have said he was 'lost'. How did someone who's a bit lost after walking 30 mins. suddenly become a 'missing person'??? Lucy is a liar. Her script probably said: "Say he is missing."
Unless, she heard him say he was on the run, but then she changes it to, 'he's missing'...knowing the real reason he's gone 'off-road'...

And then there would be all those people who donated to the GoFundMe campaign. And the nature of GoFundMe campaigns on the whole (the company must have some vested interest in making sure their site doesn't become a venue for grifting). And our collective soul. Every time we get psychologically invested in something, only for it to turn out to be a fraud, it bites a bit more off us and we care a little less about what we should care more about.

It was decided some time ago that people visiting other country’s tend to only know their own country’s emergency number………so for the safety of people it was decided to be able to call your own country’s emergency number & you would be put through to the country you are in. That way everyone can be safe.

Emergency service numbers generally work everywhere it usually directs to the local country your calling from

911 is an emergency number to contact the police. If you dial 911 in a foreign country it will direct you to the local police automatically. A basic Google search will provide most of the information these moronic comments post about.

So she thought the Spanish police within less than an hour of her calling would of had a helicopter in the air searching for some British tourist, really? Ok.

That guy has said he knew Jay's mates, Lucy is apparently his mate and apparently well known in those parts, yet she said he went off with two randoms, she also never mentioned in that original interview that she also went to that air bnb to ask those guys or speak to them, yet the guy said the first person was Lucy who chapped on his door looking for Jay.
List goes on and on with the inconsistencies in both their versions of events, not to mention the amount of highly improbable things they are saying happened. He clearly had a phone he clearly knows how to use Google maps and able to send pin point location yet he never used the map to check where those roads go or where the best route would be? Clearly it would of been easier to walk downhill in the opposite way they said he went, which also would of been easy to work out on Google maps too, yet he decided to walk uphill in the wrong direction 🤔

The story your hearing here has been circulating the internet all day saying he's still alive. I have no idea if it's true or not?
The only evidence we got is that the woman shopkeeper in the car said seen Jay walking fast up the road, was he drugged up still? And Lucy and Brad both spoke to Jay when he was up mountains, lost and thirsty, if any of them can be believed? Anything after this is pure speculation that's why it makes no sense.
If you phone 999 or 911 in a different country it will still connect you to the emergency services in that country

I don't quite get why she's reporting him missing, he isn't missing he needs mountain rescue because he's in distress. She knows roughly where he is. He shouldn't;t be ' missing' in her mind. Furthermore she shouldn't be hysterical, he should be hiring a cab or moped to go and hellp him, she knew where the apartment was and she knew his location, as did brad, what's Brad doing in all this ? he knows where he is but doesn't think to help ?
I don't trust portions of narrative where the word 'obviously' proliferates. People say 'obviously' when it's anything BUT obvious.
Also, is there 'nothing up there' or are your friend, who didn't hear the helicopter that wasn't dispatched within a couple of hours of first contacting the police, and a load of hikers and walkers up there? Nothing? Something? Somebody would have seen him on that busy road? Nothing up there?
With so many inconsistencies - that's more than nerves.
There are, I believe, some cognitive conditions which make people incapable of saying anything they know to be true. So, no judgement calls - it may be that everybody is expecting her to not be one of those individuals.

A body has just been found Spanish police believe it’s that of Jay belongings found with the body. Identity to be carried out. This guy should be arrested for making false claims.
