ATF just saved MFD's butt! "Re-kindle event" cannot happen if the AM Fire had been extinguished properly to begin with. Don't blame heavy equipment operators moving the brush to help the firefighters deal with the fire. One of the firefighters at the fire is quoted in the Honolulu Star Advertiser a few days after the fire saying she "thought" they put out the fire, "guess" they didn't. She should have kept her mouth shut. Oh wait, they all couldn't wait to give interviews, especially to 60 minutes.

When living on Oahu, we ALL cheer when HECO fixes damaged poles, snapped wires, mountaineous trouble, they ALL come thru! so we dont have to waste dinner. Also, and this relates to Maui HECO too.....what are the chances that any person, with a sickness, elderly, or injury, has to have oxygen or other medical needs that is RUN by electricity......if it cuts off, would you think the patient is ok or may die soon if the machines stop working. No official, nobody bought up this issue yet.....everybody feels its HECO fault.....I would be more PISSED if my mom was on oxygen and the electricity stopped due to the fire.....will she survive?
