- I've never seen one of these on RUclips before but with the flag stand incident at Bristol during the dirt race I decided to post this. I hope you guys enjoyed and if you did make sure to like and subscribe. As always feel free to leave suggestions in the comments and thanks for watching!

I've always been worried about the flagman losing grip on a flag and it falls to the racetrack. Welp...it happened.
Me too as a kid when they come to green
Bro same
In New York one of the short tracks had a series called ISMA- supermodifieds. Those cars have a huge 25 square foot top wing just like a dirt sprint car. When they got the green the wind turbulence was so strong it yanked the yellow flag out of the stand which was in one of the holding pegs. Still funny to think about- and a demonstration of how insane those cars are.
I do not work for NASCAR, but I do work as a flagman. I have nearly dropped a flag, but have not yet dropped a flag. Aside being hit by debris, my second fear is dropping a flag.
Kind of fitting this came out today when one of the biggest Nascar intentional blunders happened in the all star race. I know it wasn’t on the flag man, but damn.
All-star race moment
Imagine if one of the cars hit a safety truck
Michael McDowell clipped one a couple years ago. Lost his rear bumper. I think it was at Richmond, back when he was in the 95
I think an Xfinity driver clipped an Ambulance a few years ago.
@@Bload72productions Michael McDowell hit a safety truck at Richmond
@@Bload72productions Yeah. That was at Iowa. I think it was the 90 car. Might've been 92. I think it was one of those Bassett brothers
@@Crush1084 Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was Iowa or Kentucky.
For those wondering about the 2022 comments about the All-Star Race: with Ryan Blaney close enough to the finish that the flagman had the checkered in his hand and started waving, Nascar ordered the caution flag to be put out, as someone hit the wall. In the backstretch, while running second to last (and the other two had gotten by him safely). And as a special event, the race HAD to finish 'under green'. (Blaney still won, at least.)
This call is considered to be unpopular by many.
You and Darian are the kings of jinxing/timing.
This is fitting for the all star race today
1:30 it was at that moment that the flag man knew, he fucked up
You. Make good vids keep doing it and I will subscribe
Basically another one tonight. Poignant.
That radioactive clip was one of those phantom cautions NASCAR throws just to make the race interesting
I was there and got it on Video

Great video 👍
Has to something to do with last night horror show at Texas
5:34 it’s look like a epic movie, but when the heros found out that they are f***** and the world is getting destroys by some aliens
Forgetting to throw the white flag also happened at Dover in 2001
Awesome video cool
Looks like you have enough material after last night to put together a second episode 😬😂
Timely.
Finally
Its like he knew this would happen last night 😂😂
Never understood why the flags don't have a leash on them
Was that a fan up in the flagstand at Bristol?
Ironic that this video was uploaded today after what happened in the All Star Race -_-
🤯🤯🤯
Here after the all star race
You only had one job...
I've raced a few times and would always go by the kights, because if I can see them, everyone else can too.
Ironic
This video should b amended to include the All-star race BS caution, as that too was a mistake.
6:38 - Green Flag was waved because Kyle crossing the line started his lap attempt for qualifying. So, green first, then yellow.
There is no yellow flag in NASCAR’s qualifying procedures.
@@ljostarter There isn't a restriction on the yellow flag during qualifying. If there is an issue on the track, it can be waived. ruclips.net/video/tVewPEwCJLY/видео.html
Timing
Fun fact the guy at bristol dirt earlier this year that climbed the flag stand. I actually got to talk to him before both races and Saturday and Sunday
Wasn't one of these caused by the flagman leaning on the override switch?
No, that was 2004 at a craftsman truck race in Charlotte. All the yellow light issues shown in this video were after that incident. Race control has control of the caution lights, not the starter.
Hahahahaha why was this posted when it was... Appx 6 hours before the all star race incident 2022
*Sighs* Doggone it!
add 2022 All-Star Race to the tally
First video had nothing to do with the flag man. Race controller dropped the ball on that one.
Some of these aren’t even the flag man. It’s just nascar being stupid.
yeah, like first one and 2 clips I have time stamped (clip 2:12 and clip 2:33)
