I remember watching fluke master videos just to learn how to catch a fish now years later I finally bought a kayak and stumbled on to your channel. Small world haha look forward to learning from you chad. 🤘
Cookeville resident here everything chad said about Cookeville is completely true I just bought a shearwater 125 hope to run into both you guys out on the water god bless
man your videos just keep getting better every time . that waterfall is insane . on our list now for sure .. looks like that jackhammer set up killed em .
What I love most about this particular video is I have been there and fished that water. Fall Creek Falls was our vacation every year for years when I was younger. I've been down to the bottom of the falls many many times and it's a spectacular sight to see. That water at the bottom of the falls is crazy cold by the way. I've also crossed that swinging bridge several times too. I hope you made it to the cascades while you were there too. I can share in it when you say it's an awesome place to be. I highly recommend it to anyone that can go to check it out. And then at the end of your trip go to Long Branch Lakes just up the road haha.
Very nice video, nice calm feeling and a just a simple look.. Love going to Fall Creek.. We don't live very far away at all (Dayton) and spend a lot of time there. Awesome place to take the family for sure.
So Chad, Gene, I take by the conversation and attire this footage was shot early in the year (Feb/Mar ??). Awesome #TTPs and footage of a beautiful place I definitely have to make a trip out that way. Gene i agree it's nothing like fishing from a #Kayak, the stealthiness of a kayak is priceless.
Hey Chad, looking to get one of those Lew’s Custom Pro Speed Spool Reels for chatterbait fishing. I see that you were using the 7.5:1 model. Do you notice that ever being to fast for a bladed jig? They make that 6.8:1 as well. Trying to decide between the two. Thanks for your time!
For those two it would come down to whether or not you want to pedal. If you want to pedal, go with the Radar, if not, I would go with the ATAK. I like the Radar 135 much better though, so if I were going to do the Radar it would be the 135.
CtYakFishin in this video I was using a RAM mount but I have since switched to the YakAttack Mount for better holding power, less “sag” and easier adjustment, especially with one hand. It does better with the heavier units as well.
@@ChadHooverFishing awesome man! The sag is the reason I ask, my garmin is heavy and even with the 2 inch ball and arm set up it still sags over time. I'll look in the the YakAttack gears. Thanks brother
Man I’d love to fish with you bro I’ve watch many videos. You have a ton a Knowledge. I’m just a veteran tryna perfect my bass technique. I don’t care to be on camera or need help with rods/reels or yaks and pfd I’m ready. But just a buddy to fish with anyone in fact reading this hit me up. Let’s go fishing.
Love your videos. You know what I think would be a great idea and would be a huge hit? If you hooked up with NDYakAngler and tamed the rivers of the north he is fishing. Some of the best smallmouth fishing I've ever seen from that guy. Check him out
Two dudes I enjoy watching every time they put out a video
Ckworth thanks, we enjoy making them and appreciate the support

Hey Chad, I’m looking at buying my first yak. My options are the Wilderness Systems Radar 115 or the ATAK 120. Which one should I get and why?

Hey Chad, what arm mount are you using for your fish finder? I couldn't tell if it was Ram or not. Thanks
CtYakFishin in this video I was using a RAM mount but I have since switched to the YakAttack Mount for better holding power, less “sag” and easier adjustment, especially with one hand. It does better with the heavier units as well.

That would be awesome. Go suggest it on his page too..
Yes sir. Also, thank you for your service.
I think Hoover is the only guy who can make something good out of a "STD' (Shallow to Deep) Hahahaha
Rocky Top Splash hey. What can I say?
Tell Jean that a Rhino lift will come in handy for him getting that yak off the top of his truck
Just courious, take away body weight on average how much heat and product weight have you added to your yaks
yo what up
Danny D-Rock Mahaffey sup
Compensating? Huge boat for a tiny fish? Lol. I feel ur pain
Not compensating at all. Just living and loving life brother
It's so funny to watch grown men fish in little plastic toys. Here is a thought get an actual boat not a bathtub floaty toy.
You're either trying to be a troll or have never been fishing on a kayak.
