Metallica Through The Never Lyrics:
All that is, was and will be
Universe much too big to see
Time and space never ending
Disturbing thoughts, questions pending
Limitations of human understanding
Too quick to criticize
Obligation to survive
We hunger to be alive yeah
All that is, ever, ever was
Will be ever
Twisting, Turning
Through the never
In the dark, see past our eyes
Pursuit of truth no matter where it lies
Gazing up to the breeze of the heavens
On a quest, meaning, reason
Came to be, how it begun
All alone in the family of the sun
Curiosity teasing everyone
On our home, third stone from the sun
All that is, ever, ever was
Will be ever
Twisting, Turning
Through the never
we must go
(On through the never)
Out of the Edge of forever
We must go (on through the never)
Then ever comes
All that is, ever, ever was
Will be ever
Twisting, Turning
Who we are
Ask forever
Twisting Turning
Through the never
Never

That tone is killer!
Such a nasty tone and a job well done!
any tips on how to keep stamina and downpick as good as you on bass ? i can down pick pretty fast while sitting but when im playing standing its hard for me any tips ?
I would pick whatever song your wanting to learn, start from the intro and then try and play as far into the song as you can until you fatigue and then stop at that point. Then in your next practice sessions try and play further and further into the song gradually each time until you can play it fully without fatiguing 👍
@@JamesDixon oh so just play it over and over again until i can keep up with the downpicking ?
What bass guitar is that? She's great! 🤘👌
Thanks, it's a Spector Legend 6 Classic 🎸
What a lovely bass tone. Im so bumed to find out that the decent spector basses are super expensive 😢 i could only afford a performer or maybe a second hand euro...would I be wasting my money buying a new spector performer or is there a better 5 string bass for a beginner like me looking to play a lot of black album and the justice album and achieve that distinctive bass growl from jasons bass ❤
Thanks! I've never tried a performer model myself but I know a man who has @MonchoEchiburu , plenty of different covers and tones on his channel with the performer modal, even some metallica! If you can get a second hand euro online then yeah you'd be loving life but otherwise Spectors are just crazy expensive right now 😞
@JamesDixon Thanks for the mention of moncho with the performer. I've checked out a bunch of his vids today, and he's very good and fun to watch. I actually meant to say in my last comment that I could only afford a spector performer or a second-hand spector legend... the euro is out of my reach lol and to be honest, it would be wasted on me as I'm a beginner.
Just to point out when I'm listening to your metallica black album covers they sound so much more punchier and clear than monchos vids.....I see your using a spector legend classic 6 string....in your opinion is the spector legend a better purchase than the performer in my situation? Also, I was going to go for a 5 string over a 4 string as I would like to learn some korn bass covers also.... sorry for all the questions, but do you think a 4 string would be easier to play or a 5 string?
Also have you modded your bass at all? Like changed any parts on it like pick ups etc?
Ah well punchiness and clarity maybe personal tone preferences as I'll admit I dialled way too much treble into my earlier black album covers. My legend was second hand off of Ebay, so I would recommend doing that as well 😃 All I've done to the bass is add Spector style inlay stickers 😁 For Korn you'll definitely want a 5 string version. A lot people make a big deal over switching from 4 to 5/4 to 6/5 to 6 stringed instruments etc but honestly after a few hours practice you'll get used to it.
Filthy tone! 😈
