Mr Grant looks like he had so much fun making this film.
He didn't even know he was being filmed, this is what he does at his house.
@@MrWizardGG😂😂
@YummyJustinn-x2b just buy 1000 fake views on the internet in exchange for 10 dollars and stop begging. It's only like $10 spend your own money.
He is so calm that it is terrifying
@@MrWizardGG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can definitely tell that Grant had so much fun in playing his recent roles, like in The Gentlemen and Dungeons & Dragons
For sure. Hugh has definitely been showing off his range more in his recent roles and it's nice to see.
I wouldn't know whether he has had fun or not, but it's certainly been a breath of fresh air to see him play mischievous villains. He was great in Dungeons & Dragons.
I did. Really was a blast to film, paid great too. Hope y'all enjoyed my performance

Our Lady of the Rosary Acts in History, and in Our Souls by Sensus Fidelium.
As a scaredy cat, I can’t wait to read the Wikipedia plot recap of this movie.
SAAAAME
I thought that I am the only one who is doing it 😅😅😅
I have found my people! I don’t handle jump scares well at all. I avoid most horror and wait for someone to kindly write the wiki page.
@@MelissaDawes Haha same!! I like the horror/thriller genre but I dont like jump scares. Even right now I’m reading about Longlegs on Reddit instead of watching the movie 😅
Me too 😂.
I'm looking forward to the Mormon version of Saw
That's funny, the Mormon version of Saw !!!😅😂
@@rakawage just take your like bro, I'm howling lmaooooo 😂😂😂
This likes the the BETTER version of saw.
Starts a bit similar to Human Centipede.
I don't think it's going to be gory and torture like. It's probably just going to be trying to escape a maze and some traps.
You know if it's A24 and a horror movie, it's gonna be a banger.
Yep looks good
Any A24 movie gonna be good ,no matter horror or anything else
It's so odd that a hands off no studio interference approach actually produces good movies people are interested in.
@@cinephilebuddy464a24 is overrated
Not everytime
I love anything by A24, but I’m so please Hugh Grant is taking roles like this. He’s wonderful in anything he does and this looks brilliant.
Hugh Grant Im in! no one can play a delightful bad guy like him!
Hugh Grant is amazing but man, i'm so happy to see Sophie Thatcher in a new movie. I absolutely adore her work in Yellowjackets so i'm definitely excited to see what else she does besides doing that series
Yup. Best young actress around.
Yep me too
It’s she the new Antler queen? I hope she it’s.
I love love love her and I can’t wait to see her in this
Youse should also check out the trailer for Companion, another thriller coming out, that she's in!!!
Hugh Grant is getting better and better when he ages. Who knew he would fit in horrors instead of romantic comedies😍
00:55 That's the "Inferno Chart" from Dante Alighieri poem, "The Divine Comedy." This seems like it's gonna be very entertaining.
I have no idea what’s going to happen, and I love it. A24 does their trailers right. No spoilers, grabs the attention 👌
the trailer is waaay better than the actual film :(
@@zjmbjrtj its not even out yet lol. what are a a time traveler lol.
@@exgem789they probably went to an early viewing of the movie.
@@Kay72487 theres no such thing
@@exgem789bro why should i lie, i saw it in Film Ekimi festival in İstanbul
Hugh grant has a deeply unsettling face when it comes to this. It's perfect ❤
Hugh Grant ages like an excellent wine. Grant Cru.
Honestly though
A movie I’m looking forward to watch which is a rarity. Who knew Hugh Grant would evolve into such a great (and some times evil) badass actor as he matured.
I thought he did a good job in Sense and Sensibility. He's always been quite good, this just shows his experience and ability to improve over time.
The best part of watching “Joker: Folie a Deux” in IMAX last night.
And this looks so much better.
Is the joker sequel worth seeing? I have seen some really horrific reviews, and have considered just waiting for it to come out instead of seeing it in the theater. The movie in this video looks really good. A horror movie, but more of a puzzle or a study. It looks like my kind of film.
@@billj4525 Honestly, it has some decent moments, but even with its thought-provoking material, it suffers from the top of the original.
I will say, watching it in IMAX for the cinematography and chaos was worth it. But, I’m saving the rest of my money for the majority of A24 films coming out for the rest of the year.
@@craigledger4645 Yeah, sounds like a good idea. Thanks.
@@craigledger4645Terrifier 3 ,Heretic, and
Nosferatu are the only things that look appealing in the coming months.
Joker 2 was amazing
A24 and Hugh Grant, i'm sold.
1:17 was all I needed to see. I'm in! Hugh Grant Holy Horror?! Amazing.
The only thing bad about this film is that it's not coming out earlier!
i got to see an early screening at a film festival and you wont be dissapointed! one of the best movies ive seen this year
Hugh Grant is obviously amazing but to see Sophie Thatcher in this movie is one of the most exciting part of this movie for me. I adore her in Yellowjackets and Prospect and i cannot wait to see what is her future in acting. She's fantastic 🙌
She is on her way to become a Scream Queen 🙌
she's so underrated, love her acting
Oh Hugh Grant, I love him! You look like an old fisherman with secrets!
I’m actually going to see this in the theater, haven’t gone in years but this looks amazing!
Hugh Grant as a horror villian feels so right. Don't think he ever did those before.
Most of my fellow Mormon church members are upset by this movie but I’m actually tearing up 🥹! It’s our grand debut into the pantheon of religious horror films! It’s been dominated by the Catholics for too long!
Looking forward to many more. Here’s my free pitch for the next one, A24: it’s about an Elders quorum (men’s group) President, and everyone in Elders quorum says they’re going to do their ministering (checking in on assigned congregation members), but every time they’re about to do it they get distracted by Chappel Roan music. (For non members reading, to the stereotypical white, Utah valley Elders quorum president, not doing ministering and listening to Chappel Roan music are both terrors on an equal scale)
Wait, what? Utah members are afraid of Chappell Roan? LMAO That has not translated at all down here in Southern California, I'm pretty sure I heard Good Luck Babe at a ward pool party
no it isn't
I’m in the minority of members who is fascinated and curious about this movie too. Really wondering if the writers and such did their research. Only worry is it might hit a little too close to home. Obviously the concept is way out there but missionaries getting stuck in dangerous situations is definitely real.
Yeah every religion has some nut jobs amongst the normal people just trying to do the right thing
Chappel roan comment is crazy 😂😂😂
Hugh Grant is magnificent
Hugh Grant such a top actor
No more Mr. nice Guy - Finally Hugh
plays a nasty, evil Villain. We will love him for this.
One thing A24 gonna do it’s flip that camera upside down
If Sophie Thatcher (young Natalie in Yellowjackets) is in it, that's all I need to know. Sign me up. Best young actress in the biz.
She's gonna be huge one day I can't wait
She's one of my favourite parts of Yellowjackets, i really hope her career is going to be as big as other young actors like Timothee Chalamet or Zendaya
@@Fl0k5ser Yup. And she can act circles around either of those two (both of whom I like, btw).
@@lamb9770 well nevertheless she’s so hot ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
So glad Hugh Grant has broken out of his typecasting. He was great in The Gentleman, looking forward to this.
Jigsaw + Ned Flanders + British charm
i love when i come to watch a trailer to see what the film is fully about just to get no answers- now thats a real trailer
A24 has been casually dropping banger after banger for years now.
Hugh Grant's career renaissance has been a lot of fun to watch.
Someone really, really had a problem with Mormon missionaries knocking on their door, and wrote a script about it.
I’ve been waiting for this film for ages - can’t wait to see it in theaters!
Hugh Grant took oodles of pleasure playing this character.
It's so very disconcerting to see Hugh Grant turn that gentlemanly charm and winning smile into something so...sinister.
Hugh Grant transitioned from a romantic lead to playing bad guys/creepos perfectly as he aged. I'm sold.
Hugh Grant has been doing good work lately.
Love the career choices Hugh Grant has been making in his later years
Oh god I'm so happy to see Hugh Grant
I watch everything that A24 puts out and this film is no exception! Can’t wait!!
Holy crap a movie coming out that actually looks good. God bless
3 trailers and still no spoilers....A24 is best
I can’t wait for this movie! Also favorite actor from Yellowjackets Sophie Thatcher
In it for Hugh, who is playing a role so unlike what we are used to. All the other stuff is bonus!
Hugh Grant in a mind screw thriller… YES PLEASE!
How perfect is Hugh Grant for this role, still kinda cheeky, but much more creepy than funny. perfect!
Hugh Grant just gets better and better ! This is going to be fun
He has always been great, it's just that the movie industry had not utilised his talent before.
Hugh Grant is a Gangsta! I've been following O.G for years. It's nice to see him play a dark character. He can do it all !
Whoever made the trailer, well done!
Recent horror or thriller movies have been uniteresting to me, but I'm looking forward to see this movie!
As someone that went on a Mormon mission as a sister missionary, first rule, don't enter the home of someone of the opposite sex if there is no one of your sex in the home.................. lol, they broke the first rule, lol, anyways, I will admit there were times on the mission, and I went stateside too, where it was a little bit scary to talk to certain people, honestly was afraid of something like this happening, especially when I found out the BTK serial killer was found one neighborhood over from where I was serving at the exact time he was found, lol, geez, lol.. Anyways, no matter what you believe about the church, and I'm not practicing anymore for various reasons, those Mormon missionaries are literal kids, thrown into situations that maybe they shouldn't be in, there have been times missionaries have been kidnapped for ransom in areas of the world they probably shouldn't have been proselytizing in, and they are even younger now than when I was out, younger than when my aunt went on her to Seoul in the early 80s (she should've never have gone there, there was a political coup that happened when she was there, then deadly student protests right after she left), if you come across Mormon missionaries out and about in your area of the world, be nice to them, you don't have to let them teach you or even engage with them, they are technically spreading propaganda to be honest, but be kind to them and look out for them.
On your first point I believe that reviews have said that he lied and said his wife was in the kitchen which is why they entered.
I was an alter boy for a few years myself, went to catholic school, church on sunday, x mas eve, etc etc...... your not religious anymore? and why did you get into that in the first place, family made you?
Everything is propaganda. So might as well feast on the propaganda of faith, hope, love in Jesus Christ...
God knows for every minute invested in him, there are countless hours not.
If you watch the first trailer for this movie, they address the opposite sex thing. He says his wife is in the kitchen.
i love hearing about this and learning this thank u omg im definitely gonna look out for them especially if theyre kids like wtf
This looks AWESOME... Hugh Grant is going to kill it in this role .
The best trailer yet for this one! Looks like a must watch.
Hugh Grant will be incredible in Heretic!
Hugh Grant sporting the serial killer glasses. This movie is going to be good!
This video was seriously creepy! It actually reminded me of Silence of the Prey - that movie still gives me chills whenever I think about it. If you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth a watch. The suspense is unreal!
Hereditary, Midsommar, Heretic they are all linked
Lol yeah just type the first thing that pops into your head.. How are they linked? Besides the pretty obvious religious themes?
Fun fact, Hereditary was filmed entirely in Utah.
This is the movie that I have been anticipating FOR A WHILE! I’ve been needing more strategic and calculated villains rather than your average psycho killer with a knife, the psychological villains are some of the most well and brilliantly thought out characters ever. I know this movie is going to be a pallet cleanser especially after the bad movies we’ve gotten this year, Hugh Grant’s villain era? Count me in. A24 you do not disappoint.
Hugh Grant in A24 horror movie? I already love everything about this
I’m gonna guess each level of the house represents a circle of hell
Good call. We saw the Dante’s Inferno referenced.
I'm getting - Dantes Inferno meets Saw
"You read the book of mormon more than we do" - what you say when your faith is about to get absolutely decimated. Can't wait for this movie; I remember praying so hard in my dorm at BYU over the book of Mormon for hours, and when i finally acknowledged that i felt nothing this enormous weight lifted off of my shoulders and I knew everything was a lie. For those who don't know, this is the EXACT opposite of what they promise will happen to you.
Some A24 movies leave me with a sense of belonging. I don't know how they do it, but I think they just understand how my mind works. I'm very grateful for A24 movies and their message against ignorance..
Honestly, another way A24 sets itself apart are the banger "in-universe" title lockups.
Can't stop picturing Hugh grant as an Umpa Lumpa in Wonka
Give Hugh a Oscar
I love Hugh in these roles as a maniac 😂
A24 trailer just doesn't miss!
Sophie Thatcher is one of my favorite actors.
As soon as he said "through the back of my house" i knew there will be dante themes in there
He's just so much better as an actor now , after being type casted on romantic comedies for his charm and looks , he has developed into a funny , multi dimensional actor that I truly enjoy
Старый добрый Хью грант
Hugh Grant has been waiting his entire life to play the part of a villain.
This movie is great. Saw it at Fantastic Fest. Wonderfully tense with great puzzles and fantastic dialogue.
Do any of the girls die?
@@kinetic-cybernetic that would be telling. No spoilers from me. I will say that the primary tension comes from dialogue and situation. The writer/directors stated before our showing that this movie was born out of an idea to see if they could make a film where the horror comes from what is said (and how) more than more traditional tropes. I think it works great.
Refreshing to see a good trailer that doesnt give away to much of the movie. I mean how are you going to show me the demon or monster in a scary movie in the actual trailer? This trailer does none of that and im here for it!
Im so interested! I was raised mormon, and I loooove horror. And hugh grant! And A24!
Hugh is either your romcomgod or THE oompaloompa
I'm so excited for this film.
seriously, a horror movie with sister missionaries.....well, honestly, not too unbelievable. Have heard of some missionaries getting killed when they were lured in people's homes.
All comments so far have either been about A24 Producing this movie, or about Hugh Grant being perfect for the role he was cast into for it.
While this looks like a lot of fun, I absolutely love the marketing teams work on incorporating the A24 logo into that opening shot!
めっちゃ面白そう!
早く日本でも観たいな😊
I spent 2017 in Japan and will go back next year❤️ I love your country, but wish you would stop dubbing every movie and let people watch it in original language, the only problem I have traveling around there is the lack of English knowledge across all age groups. Being exposed to English media as a kid is how I learnt the language.
Three signs this is going to be a banger:
1. A24
2. Hugh Grant
3. The trailer didn’t reveal the entire freaking plotline😂
Anytime I repeatedly hear 'Mr. Reed' I immediately think of Jim Carrey in Liar Liar ('97).
As an ex-Mormon, this looks VERY interesting to me...
I’m here for everything Sophie Thatcher ❤
A role for Hugh Grant that is almost as villainous as his turn in Paddington 2.
Every parent’s nightmare who sends their baby to serve a mission
The rom-com king Hugh grant is about to kill in this horror movie!
I'm an ex mormon and i have to say this looks like a very interesting movie. Definitely gonna have to watch this.
Something very interesting, both actresses who play the sister missionaries are Ex-Mormons.
@@LockeDemosthenes2 Very cool and likely played into the hiring process
This looks too good I genuinely couldn't tell what's happening in the trailer and Hugh grant looks amazing
Remember! The only way out of Hell is all the way down!
Yup ... And there's a picture of 9 levels of hell from Dante's on the wall.
I think the house is hell and they have to go down to get out
Sure seems like it to me and as a member this is really interesting to me as we don’t really believe in traditional Christian hell that’s actually one of the biggest things that sets us apart belief wise. Curious to see how accurate this film is to my religion but either way I’m definitely intrigued.
@@skylerorton2058 A you mormon, right?
Wow, this movie is on my bucket list. Looks so good!
I looked up the trailer for longlegs and I didn’t even realize it clicked on an ad until the end of the video
I just hope they got an actual Mormon to oversee stuff. Like, Mormon missionaries live in apartments and rarely go to their church houses.
A24 is my favorite studio because of their dedication to quality, so I doubt it’d matter much.
Let us all Pray
Smart. The first two didn’t reveal much at all, most of like the intensity of the final talk.
Then here, still not too much, but enough to hype it especially with these beautiful actresses.
Now, freaking release the movie already!
Thanks A24 ❤❤
Looks pretty fucking good not gonna lie
